I went here for the first time last year with some friends and had a pretty great experience; the food was delicious, the drinks were good and the entertainment was fun. We went during dinner time and ordered the "Dalkey Duo" appetizer (battered cocktail sausages with a Dalkey mustard dipping sauce), which was one of the best apps Id ever had. For my entree I ordered the "Serious Steak," which was cooked perfectly. The fresh basil oil that they drizzle on the plate was fantastic, and the amount of food that they gave me for the price was pretty good. Despite my amazing first visit, I was disappointed on my second. My mother visited around Memorial Day this year and I took her to Raglan Road since we were at Downtown Disney already. They really need to fix their waiting system; the buzzer that they give you can only go a certain distance from the restaurant, and there is hardly any seating areas outside for people to wait, which was not ideal for my mom. I feel like it would be better to have an app to notify you when your table is ready, or for Disney to put more seating around the outside of restaurants to accommodate walk-up customers who have to wait for a table. After waiting for what seemed like 2 hours out in the heat with nowhere to sit, we were finally seated at our table, which was behind a wall, where we werent able to see the dancers and singers. Normally I wouldnt have minded, but since this was my moms first visit it was disappointing. We ordered the "Dalkey Duo" appetizer, which was just as delicious as it was last time, but both of our entrees were very bland and not tasty at all. She ordered the Shepherds Pie, which almost smelled like cat food, and I ordered the Luscious Tart from the vegetarian menu, which was bland and uninspired. After my first visit to Raglan Road I was anxious to come back, but after my last visit I am unsure if I will waste my time or money there again.

Let me start this off with a positive comment. The food quality here is excellent. Everything else here was awful. We had a reservation for 9 pm on a Sunday night and got there around 8:45. They wouldnt let us claim our reservation despite numerous empty tables all over the restaurant. After we were seated we had Brandon as our server. It took him 20 minutes to take our drink order and another 10 minutes to get it out to us and one of the drinks was wrong. After apologizing cause he said mayonnaise was spilled on him and he had to change clothes. I understand stuff happens so we brushed it off. He finally brought our appetizers 1 hour after we came in and the bread was so hard it could have broken our teeth. During this time our drinks were empty and couldnt get anyone to bring us another. Everytime we were told that the person would get Brandon and he would never show up. After finally getting our delicious main courses he finally came to give us one refill on our drinks over an hour after we originally sat down. He never came back to see how everything was or offer drinks again the next time we saw him I asked for the check my wife left to go to the Disney store and I said I would meet her after I paid. 30 minutes later Brandon never showed up with my check. I find another employee to get my check. He says he will find Brandon who finally shows up to take my payment. It took him another 10 minutes to come back with my receipt. In this time my wife is calling wondering where I am. This is not what we expect to be disney quality or disney service. Great food except that hard bread and the worst service I have ever experienced.

Food 5 stars, service 1 star is generous for Char R. She was the most inattentive waitress I have experienced in a long time. She was always out of the room that her tables are in... we were wondering is she hanging out at the pass with the other waitresses or up watching the band? She came by when we were literally on our last bite of dessert and NEVER came back. After 20 minutes I went up to another waitress with my credit card to ask her to pay so we could go and our waitress came running over. 5 star food, starts with bread and a dipping sauce of reduced Guinness and olive oil. OMG I am not a fan of Guinness but it was amazing. The Shepherd Pie, it was a unique presentation and simply delicious. The portion was adequate for us to share and be satisfied. The best part was the Bread & Butter Pudding. Quite possibly the best bread pudding I have ever had. We are already planning to go back for more. I highly recommend Raglan Road the restaurant. Most of the restaurants in PI-DTD have quick serve options, and looking at the prices and portions, it wouldve cost more for us to eat at the quick serve side than the restaurant. Second Visit: So we went back because the food is 5 stars, and on this visit our waitress Erin was 5 stars as well. We had the Bangers and Booz, which has sausages, mashed potatoes, and Irish beef stew with Guinness. It was again absolutely amazing. Then of course, had to get the Bread & Butter Pudding again. Who knows when we will return, it is only 2700 miles away from home.

I always try to give a balanced review, with both the good and the bad (lets skip the ugly) but Raglan Road gets a 100% on everything. Lets start with the staff. From the first folks you meet at the reception desk to the waiter, they all very very friendly and provide excellent, attentive service. The food was really great. We had the "Its not bleedin chowder" chowder (sorry chef, but thats what Id call it) and the root vegetables. The chowder was full of seafood (fish, mussels) in a nice cream base. The root veggies very sweet and delicious. The entertainment was real good but the dancers should have put a little more hip into it... Whats that... They were suppose to do that? Well then they were outstanding. The Irish dancing was powerful and beautiful. The band that followed them was also fantastic with songs that covered from Irish ballads to rock. Finally, the Guinness was a perfect pour including a room temperature glass, making for a cool, not cold beer. As Michael Jackson, the beer reviewer once wrote, "the two saddest words in the English language are cold beer. Drink your yellow fizzy water as cold as you like (thank you but Ill pass on the yellow soda water) but please drink real beers cool, not cold. This is to date my longest review because Raglan Road deserves a perfect five star score for meeting then exceeding all expectations. They have been by far the best dining experience here at Walt Disney World and I dont expect we will find better.

Very entertaining!! Constant singing and dancing the entire time!! We tried 2 different appetizers. Thr nom noms (wings) had very good flavor. A little spicy yet a little sweet. The onion rings had a really good consistantsy but lacked flavor. A little salt would have def gone a very long way. My two youngest tried the chicken and fries from the kids menu. Both of them devoured their meal. My oldest son ordered the lambo. He said the lamb by itself was not very good but if you mix it with everything it comes with its a great dish. My husband ordered the braised beef with roasted vegetables and mashed potatoes and you already know i had to try it. The meat was super tender and juicy and had great flavor....like it had been cooked for hours. The roasted vegetables were good BUT the mashed potatoes were out of this world. Seriously. Mouth watering good. I would have been happy with a plate filled with only mashed potatoes for dinner. I ordered the ham schnitzel thingy. The ham just didnt have a lot of flavor. I dont know if its because they bread it and then sear it and the breading takes away from it or what but it was just missing something. Dont get me wrong, it was good but was missing something to make it great. Our service was the ISH. He kept our drinks refilled and answered all of our stupid questions, including my son asking him if he likes the Cleveland Cavaliers......smh.
