Just the facts: I ordered Friday Night Special $12.95 - "All You Can Eat Seafood." Fried shrimp - fried fish - peel and eat shrimp. What arrived after 20 minutes was 7 medium over fried shrimp and one medium baked potato on a platter. I immediately ordered that the fish be brought. I quickly finished the 7 shrimp and potato to wait 10 minutes on the two fish sticks that arrived. I asked that another order of shrimp be brought. I finished the fish sticks to wait another 10 minutes for the second order of 4 butterfly fried shrimp. I asked that the third order be started. Finishing fried shrimp #11, we, (wife and I) waited another 10 minutes and the order had not arrived. We got up and went to pay and leave. Asked if there was a problem, I replied 15 shrimp in 45 minutes is not acceptable for an all you can eat special. The cook explained that due to people over ordering and leaving uneaten food on the AUCE specials, corporate implemented the policy of serving 4 shrimp at a time. Handing out 4 shrimp every quarter hour is patronizing and cheap. The decor: Bright yellow walls painted with cartoon frogs, ponds, and signage gives a decidedly day care feel to the place. Add in a painted concrete floor that the staff can hose down each night, and the effect is complete. Plus the combination is as nosy as a 747 jet engine. The drinks: We hold the opinion that the bartenders (two women about 21 years old) googled the drink recipes for a pomegranate martini, which did not taste like one, and a poor rum runner. The bar: Dark, nosy, ESPN on all channels tuned to base ball except one tuned to World Cup. The wait staff: Plentiful, knowledgeable, friendly, and not that attentive to empty drink glasses. The uniform of the wait staff is very low front cut tee shirts showing more cleavage than a Hooter girl. ( The servers name on the ticket is: "Double D". The response of the staff to our complaints was defensive and did not offer to adjust the bill or offer any discount on the next visit. It was a Friday night, however, over half the tables were empty. Cook times should have been faster, and wait staff more attentive. If you are passing through Mt. Dora, do not stop here expecting good food, good drinks, and attentive wait staff. Rather go to downtown Mt. Dora for several boutique type bars and restaurants, or go to Chillis. About us: We both have long history in food service work and know about the behind the counter operations. We do not eat in the chain establishments when traveling and thought Froggers was an independently owned place.

I had the buy one get one basket Wednesday special. Although you can mix and match baskets, I got two of the same except for the side dishes. They were the chicken and shrimp baskets. First thing I noticed was that the food was cooked to order, hot and fresh. The batter used on the shrimp was light and lightly seasoned, so it didnt interfere with the flavor of the very decent sized shrimp. The chicken was tender and delicious, as were the onion petals in the one basket. The steamed vegetables in the second basket were perfect, not under- or over-cooked. Jessica, our server, was great! She advised us on everything from the special for that day, to the Thursday night specials, which I hope to attend soon, and walked me through their requirements for their rewards program. She was smiling, professional, prompt and efficient. Altogether a great casual dining experience.

Very very poor wings. Everyone got sick, including myself. The girls and their friends had the wings and were throwing up and were on the toilet, within 20 minutes of getting straight home from there. I was the same as the girls as far as sickness and did not have any wings. This told us that the kitchen and perhaps the drinking glasses, silverware etc. could additionally be the culprit. It could be bad bacteria within the food. Again, it could be a myriad of all. Next time we ever get sick from an establishment my husband reminded us we are going straight to the ER so that samples are taken then off to the lab. Followed up with our attorney. Enough is enough. Additionally, put at least one REAL ADULT in charge. The place appears to be staffed from the local high school via tattoo parlor. Dont worry, we will never return.

This place has the potential to be so much more. Food tends to be a bit bland despite unique and intriguing menu options. Service can be below average at times (servers are forgetful) and cook times are sometimes excessive (my girlfriend and I waited nearly 20 minutes for 2 burgers in a dining area that was maybe 2/3 full). Plenty of TVs options to catch a game and lots of bar space, so its a reasonable spot with reasonably price food and drinks.

Waitress almost ran into us as we were coming in to looking at these boys outside. Then didnt serve us, made us sit at a bar where loud music was playing and a man and woman were obviously being sexual. Sat their 20 mins for service during that time the 3 servers sat their chatting, flirting with a guy, texting, and just wondering. Obviously seeing we were waiting for service. We walked out.

Ive been coming here for years, used to be excellent. Now the food is piss poor. Wing quality has went down SIGNIFICANTLY. Owner refuses to split flavors on 20, 50 etc because they "cost so much per wing" and its bad for business. Which makes no sense... I thought pleasing customers was GOOD for business. Loved the place for years. Now I dont believe Ill be coming back.

My family and I went here expecting a decent lunch. Apparently that was too much to expect. It was very expensive for what we got and unfortunately wed been better off going to Chilis. The burgers were very so-so and I think we got this tiny little sad pile of fries and we spent almost $40 between getting 2 drinks, 2 adult meals and a kids meal. Wont be going back!!

We have never gotten a bad plate of food at Froggers, the wings are great and their service is exceptional. I hosted my mothers 50th birthday party there 3 years ago in which I reserved half of the outdoor deck with around 30 guest and the service and quality of food was fantastic all night long.

I hit this place 2 or 3 times a week. The food is good, and the service is friendly and efficient. Many of the waitresses are very sweet and attractive. What would life be without cute waitresses? PS: My wife likes it, too. We go for pizza night every week.

You have to try their Cajun wings they are so good!! Its a fun "young" atmosphere so normally the older crowd doesnt like it because they play loud music and its actually a fun place to be. If you go during happy hour the wings are only .40 a piece.

Been here a few times hoping it would get better but never does Im done. Always out of certain drinks and the food is never right. Someone is always complaining. There are two good bartenders the rest think they are too good for their job. Stay away
