The name said Oriental Market. I was in need of some soy sauce for my Chinese food. The Yelp reviews were favorable, although I will admit they were suspiciously free of soy sauce. But it was the only thing I found nearby that seemed even vaguely close. So I went, and sure enough, the place is all middle eastern food! So this big, broad guy appeared and welcomed me kindly to his store. He had the best attitude of any grocer Ive ever met. He was welcoming. Charming. And so I was apologetic. "I know you probably dont have this ..." "Please, ask away, anything I can do for you as a customer" "but do you have any soy sauce, being an oriental market and all?" The poor chap was crestfallen. Alas, no, he did not. But, he brightened up, I can tell you how to get to the only one nearby. He rattled off an intimidating set of directions, but because I always forget directions the moment I hear them, I asked him for the name. "Pekin restaurant," he said, letting the name go with a tinge of sadness. I could tell he felt that he was passing me, his valued customer and friend, to an institution that would probably not live up to my expectations. As a consolation prize I ordered some baklava. It was only $1.50 a piece, and was as delicious as any I have ever had. (I am enjoying the last of it as I write this.) I went to the Pekin market. You will find my review of it elsewhere. But the experience I will never forget is the one I had here at Oriental Bakery. I guarantee I will come back, for the Baklava if nothing else. I received five-star treatment here, but I have to deduct one for it being the Oriental Market that, well, wasnt actually one ... LOL.

BEWARE!! If you are buying grocery items from this store, I suggest you consider somewhere else. My wife and mother in law (of Middle East descent) were in the store and got RIPPED OFF. A lot of their products do not have prices on them and no employees know how much they cost, then you take them to the register and encounter things like $12 lb Feta (for what they said was the cheapest kind), $5 labne, etc....etc... when the owner chimes in. Im sure its a different price for different people. This compares to what would be $3 lb and $1.50 for labne where my Mother-In-Law buys it all the time in Los Angeles. We will definitely NEVER be going back here again. Also, the receipt is not itemized, just one fat amount so you dont know what you were charged for, how many, etc... pay close attention. BEWARE!!

This is one of the best middle eastern mediterranean establishments in miami. The food is great and within a reasonable price range less than $10 a person. Its is a family owned business with a friendly atmosphere for people of all ages. Not only do they have the best kibbehs, not to mention their hummos which is to die for. they have a variety of groceries to choose from belly dancing scarves, accessories to hookas or sheeshas. This is a one stop shop for me, try it you wont regret it.

Absolutely amazing food and the atmosphere really transports you to another world. The music is great, the costumer service is great and if you really love Middle Eastern food, this is a must do in Miami. Easily the best in all of Miami for authentic Middle Eastern food and the market has a lot to offer.

I finally stopped in after driving by many times, I live close by. The Falafel sandwiches were great and I loved the cucumber yogurt salad and hot sauce it came with. The proprietors are very attentive and the service was quick. I will be back soon to try more items on their menu and shop at the store.

This is where I go when I need special ingredients for my Middle Eastern dishes. I also love that they have a hot bar with food options ready for when I am on the go. It is nice to always see the owner and same staff during every visit.

The Oriental is run by a family of good cooks. Fresh baked pita, and changing daily specials, plus all the middle eastern standards. "Oriental" is a misnomer, because its really Lebanese food. Interesting groceries too.

Best hummus in town. Stop in and load up on feta, olives, hummus, and any of the meats they have grilling at the counter in the back. Also, the walnut baklava is amazing.

This family establishment will make you feel at home and is popular, but you will normally find a seat to eat the daily home-style items done there.

Very good food. I thought it was Chinise because of its name; why not call it Middle Eastern instead of Oriental.
