The food from China Star is not gourmet but it is as good as any Chinese kitchen from NYC. I have been ordering their food for several years and they are consistently good. The only dish I dislike is the pepper steak... I think they should rename it to "pepper and onion and a bit of steak" but I just order other dishes. Any chicken dish works. I also love their pan fried dumplings; and if you go there at lunchtime, the meal comes with soup or a soda. Thumbs Up!

Well, I dont typically write bad reviews, or maybe I had too high an expectation, but compared to Chinese food in NH this stuff was just terrible We ordered a Pu Pu Platter for 2, crab rangoon and beef fried rice. The chicken wing could probably have broken a window if I through it at it and the three of us that ate the food were pretty much talking about how bad the food was the entire time we tried to eat it. Just thought this may be helpful to others.

I live around the corner from this restaurant, and its our go-to place for take-out Chinese. The food is as good as any Chinese place weve been to in the area, the prices are reasonable, and its always ready in 20 minutes, even when we order 10lbs of food for the six of us. And make sure to visit the website for coupons.
