I was a member of the same dinner party that Chris was on Jan. 28, 2012, and would like to also like to tell everyone about our experience. Everything Chris said was true and a correct portrayal of our experience. We were a small group and decided we wanted to sit outside because two of us were smokers. After seating ourselves, we wait ten mins before Chris went inside to get us a waitress. The waitress was very nice and said that she rarely came outside because most of the people who sit outside do not order food. She took our drink orders, gave us menus, and brought out all but the one she had forgotten. She returned a few moments later with his drink and we never saw her again. We waited at least 20 mins. before our frustration reached the point that we were willing to sit inside, just to get service. We returned to the hostess who found us a seat inside. We continued to wait. No one ever came to us, at any point. I even tried to flag a waitress down at one point and was ignored. At this point all of us were beyond angry and decided to leave. We decided we would speak with the hostess on our way out and explain how displeased we were. As we approached, she was talking to another hostess about her boyfriend which was the last straw. We left, did not say a word to anyone and were not spoken to. It was a terrible experience and I will not be returning. In regards to the owner’s response to my friend Chris, I am appalled by your response. As an owner you are responsible for the actions of your employees and every single one of them failed that night. This means that you, as an owner, failed that night and I beg you for the sake of your business that you address this issue with your employees. You call us thieves and I can understand where you are coming from. I personally only had water, so I personally stole nothing from you. I had the intention of ordering more drinks as well as food, but your staff made that next to impossible. While yes, my friends may have walked out without paying for the one drink they each ordered, you also stole from us. You took over an hour of our time and left such a sour taste in our mouths that we tried to warn others. At the end of the day, the hour we cannot get back and the patrons that you may lose from these reviews are worth much more that the price of those drinks. As to your second point, Chris is not a liar. He wrote your review first that night, so it was in fact the first review that he had ever written. He has never worked for you nor does he know anyone who ever has. Our only connection to your restaurant or employees is as our experience as customers. Finally I would like to address you as an owner. You should stop making assumptions about people who write reviews about your establishment. Do not assume that your restaurant is so good that an experience like ours cannot take place. While we may be the first people to take our frustration online (I have not read any other reviews of your "pub") I would say that it is fairly certain that this has happened more than once. As a smart business man, you should have been apologetic to Chris and said that you would do everything in your power to fix things so that this would never happen again. Do you really think that calling him a liar and getting angry has done anything to help your establishment? Common sense and caution should have been your best friend when you wrote your response, but you instead gave into your personal feelings and made a fool of yourself. I hope your business improves and you continue to do well, but based on what I have seen of your restaurant and your response, I doubt you possess the knowledge or common sense to make that happen.

The only reason Im giving this place three stars is because of the food. My aunt and I came here around 7p.m. on a Saturday and were seated in a decent amount of time. Once seated the manager informed us our waitress would be over in a minute. About 15 minutes later our waitress, Karrah (according to the receipt), shows up looking like a lady of the night and does her usual round of questions, drinks and what not. We place our order of apps and drinks and receive it in a proper amount of time. There was an issue with ordering something hot to drink seeing as it was a chilly evening, but found an alternative. After finishing our apps, our main course came promptly. By this time though it had already been an hour since we first entered and it wasnt even that busy. Once we received the main course its as if our waitress was sucked into a black hole and didnt see or hear from throughout the course of our meal. Other waiters and waitresses were coming and going, checking on customers and seating new ones. Only once did our waitress, Karrah, come to check on us and refill our drinks, which was more or less at the end of our meal. When she did refill my drink she forgot to refill the ice. I usually like my drinks cold. Once we received our refilled drinks we once again did not see or hear from Karrah for at least 30 to 45 minutes. I saw almost every other staff member come and go, checking on customers except for her. Where in the hell did she go??? After waiting what was about 20 to 30 minutes after we finished our meals, I got up and found the manager and asked him in assisting us in trying to find Karrah and paying our bill. She came around and apologized numerous times about her absence, but didnt explain why. We gave her an appropriate tip and finally left. I dont live in the area so I wont be back any time soon, but if I were to come back I will not have her as my server/waitress. Im not sure what she got so caught up in she couldnt come and check up on us like every other waiter/waitress, but Im guessing it must have been something that required a lot of concentration which caused her to loose focus on her customers. In summation, I enjoyed the atmosphere, food, T&A, and some sort of mens choir that had come in for some pints and were singing. As mentioned above, that is the only reason Im giving it three stars. Had Karrah been as attentive as her coworkers, she would have received a better tip and location would have received 5 stars.

Last night my friends and I wanted to go out and watch some basketball while having some drinks and food. When we walked in we requested to sit outside because some of my friends like to smoke. The host said it was self-seating out there and someone would come over to us. We sat and nobody came. I went in and asked if someone could take care of us. A bartender came out and asked us what we wanted. We got our drinks after she forgot one because she didnt write anything down. When she came back we asked for menus to order food and an ashtray... after 30 mins she still had not come back. We went up to the host and requested that we have a table inside because we are getting ignored outside and would really like to EAT. After sitting at the other table for another 20 minutes without anybody coming over, watching the waitresses chat with each other and sit at other tables we decided we had enough... didnt pay for our drinks and walked out. As we walked out nobody said goodbye which is indicative of our entire visit. This isnt the first time this kind of thing happened. Every time we have gone there we are very polite being most of us have been in the restaurant industry before, but the service is the worst I have ever experienced. I never walked out on a bill before and I have never written a review on the internet about a restaurant. This was the last straw at the way this place does business. We will never go back to this "pub" again and I will make sure I know anyone I speak to knows about lack of work ethic their employees have. They have no sense of urgency. The best part is every time I have been there it is never packed or super busy, yet I cant just sit down and have someone ask me what I would like to drink. My friends and I are all from different states and this is the worst service of any restaurant we have ever been in. I get that the theme is kilts and ladies and what not, but this isnt rocket science..its "burgers and beer"
