Ive been to Old House Cafe several times since discovering it about a year ago. They have delicious menu items, including steak sandwiches and a variety of soups. The main problems are that there is basically one waitress there, and every time I have been there, she is always in a sulky mood. The water glasses are a bit small, and when she refills them, you can practically here her sighing in disgust at having to serve you. Also, they DO NOT ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS. So, all and all, if youre looking for a good meal in a quaint setting, Old House is the place. Just dont expect to have any warmth from the waitress and dont forget to bring cash.

I happened onto this place by accident. I was looking for a place for just me and my mom to have some special mother dauther time. I thought they were a TeaHouse. After speaking with the owner who had answered the phone I decided to change my plans and go there. I was taking both my parents and husband. We had a great Double date there. The food was EXCELLENT!!!! Perfect place for romantic anniversarys etc. but yet a nice place you can bring the kids. Outside is excellent for small business luncheons entertaining bussiness clients. This place is so versital! I LOVE IT!!! We take all of our out-of-town friends here.

Today my family was lucky enough to share a wonderful Thanksgiving together at Old House Café. We were a larger party of ten, but that did not hinder the attentive service we received. The meal was AMAZING and included all of the usual Thanksgiving fare. Each heaping plate of food was met with oohs and ahhs from my family as we enjoyed the meal and our time together. The unique vintage décor of the restaurant added to the appeal, and the desserts were nothing short of homemade deliciousness. THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO FOR A WONDERFUL MEAL!!!! Thank you for making Thanksgiving 2014 one to remember!!

Outstanding place to eat! I have never had a bad meal - and our Thanksgiving Dinner was OUTSTANDING!. We brought family from out of town (Maryland) and they were super impressed. Everything was homemade and the atmosphere was surely old world right from the eclectic table settings, linens and the old diningroom table - it reminded us of turkey day at grandmothers home. The server was outstanding, pleasant - and the owner, Colette, was so attentive to us - we thought she was part of our family. I highly recommend the Old House Cafe.

The cafe was outside on the porch area. Very quiet. The menu had an assortment of different dishes and the prices very reasonable. The food was excellent. The service was very good the waitress was polite and always ready to see if you needed anything. The parking is very limited. You can park in the back or in front or across the street. Enjoy

The food is excellent as well as the service. I work in Orlando and make it a point to go there when in the Daytona or Deland area. I have been going there for over 5 years now.

This place always has delicious soups and good lunch deals. The turkey sandwich was a little bland and dry, but at least it was local and healthy.

Salads are healthy and great. The butternut soup...AWESOME! I rarely carry cash, so thats pretty inconvenient.
