Everyone said hello upon entering. Nice selection of all kinds of breakfast foods. Latin fair obviously but regular standards as well and plenty of seating for large groups or single bar seats. Full bar for lunch and into evening. Espresso machine out in the open so kinda loud, plenty of parking and cards accepted. I got the best of both worlds breakfast. I will tell you that the size of the pancakes, 7 inches in diameter and stuffed with sausage and bacon, was alot. Two eggs on top, side of zippy potatoes and cuban toast, way too much for my tummy. But, it was outstanding. Everything was quick hot flavorful and service was great. I would highly recommend anybody to come, family and all or by yourself. Reasonable prices for the quantity of food. And thats just breakfast they also do lunch and dinner, happy hour, drinks and beers, with outdoor seating too if you prefer to sit out in the nice weather. Off the main Highway as well, trying to look for it you gotta come down the street a little bit. Many locals and all the staff are bilingual.

If I could give zero stars, I would. This place is overpriced and what I mean by overpriced is for the quality of food and portions its OVERPRICED. This food has no substance whatsoever. For example, I ordered a bowl of chicken soup... whats in chicken soup?...chicken obviously. Now was there any chicken in my soup besides one tiny slither of meat? No... And the soup tasted like salt water there was no kind of seaasoning at all which they lack in that department as well. Not to mention the fact I ordered a dinner and everything was basically thrown on the plate. This place is an absolute waste of space and money. They are very cheap with everything. Dont go there expecting a refill because your thirsty.. Youll wind up swallowing your spit as refreshment. Ive never seen a place more ridiculous than this one. Save your time and money and dine elsewhere.

Food was edible, but disappointing. Over cooked Enpibadas. Cuban was missing pickles, had mayo, no cheese and barely any meat. The pickle slices we had to request were thicker than the meat and thats not saying much. The avocado salad was a huge pile of lettuce with a few slices of tomato and some onions sliver that had been marinated in vinegar. Not what I remember a Cuban avocado salad being at all. $30 for those 3 items was price gouging if I ever seen. Service was about as comparable as the food. We cleared our own table after waiting for the check, still had to ask for the check from a different server. Ive worked the food industry, Im pretty forgiving and understanding, but this was awful all the way around. Plenty of pretty little waitresses standing around chatting, too busy to give a flip about food or customers.

Ok, lets not get too excited about The Latin Grill. First, they make a slammin Sangria, not too sweet. Second, the salsa music that they play is very good. I am Puerto Rican from New York and have a discriminate palate and taste in salsa music. Third, because of my discriminate palate (I am an excellent cook) I had to give only 3 stars. I had mofongo which was devoid of any garlic taste, dry, no dipping sauce (como la salsa de abichuelas o carne de res). No garlic and olive oil dip. A white sauce which was bland, I do not know what it was supposed to be. It had no chicharonnes inside, which is classic. It was served with fried chucks of pork which I thought would be inside the mofongo......they drizzled chimichurri sauce over it. Uhhh no. Maybe its a cuban thing.

Tampa has too many good Cuban places to rank this one very high on the list. Plantain chip appetizer usually comes with fresh minced garlic and oil drizzled all over. This one comes with a pile of unsalted plantain chips and some sort of murky garlic sauce that you are meant to dip into it. My wifes breaded steak was pale and bland instead of dark and crunchy. My Roast Pork seemed old or maybe over cooked, it had no cracklings and really depended on the pile of juice in the little bowl it was served for moisture and flavor. My wife said her sweet plantain side was good, so maybe that is the thing to get here. Again, I cant say if this is good for the Brandon area, but if you just drive to Tampa there are plenty of better options.

Dont waste your time or money! I ordered and paid for a tray of Tostones and Plantanos a week in advance and scheduled to pick them up at 10:00am on Mothers Day to go with our family lunch. When I arrived at 10:05am the lady told me they were almost done... almost done... almost done... It took a total of 45 minutes. When I asked why they werent ready when I arrived the lady gave me a line about they wanted them to be fresh. When I complained further she handed me a couple of stale desserts from the fridge. To make matters worse, the Tostones were inedible. They were hard as a rock... not crispy, but hard enough to hammer nails. Next time Ill make them myself. Never going back to this place.

We ordered several sandwiches and said specifically several times please make sure its made a certain way. Then Jennifer called back to confirm the order. When I picked it up I got all the way home to find it missing several ingredients. I was then told to bring the sandwiches back she needs her sandwiches back. I did not understand what she meant then after several clarifications she said she would add the ingredients on to the sandwiches when I bring them back. By this time its been thirty minutes, sandwiches are cold and she was refusing to remake them! Told me I was rude and refused to let me speak with someone above her. Most incredibly rude dining experience Ive ever encountered.
