This is the type of place that discredit genuine, independent, cozy neighbourhood restaurants. Ive been there several times, and every time I end up disappointed... The reason I keep coming back is because, well,, this is Delaware, one of the worst states for culinary experiences, but today Im finally putting an end to this... So I ordered the sweet crepe, and its hard! The waitress asked the inane question every server asks, never really wanting to hear an actual answer: "hows everything?", so I ask the obvious to see what she has to say, "is this fresh?", and she says, "yes... the crepes are made everyday". Everyday?! WTF?! I say "but it wasnt made now, was it?", "No, it takes too much space". I dont even know where to begin with that answer, which is beyond ridiculous... It is very much the equivalent of a restaurant that pre-make the food, claiming that a stove would take too much space!! Based on the current rate of this restaurant, I must conclude that it caters to the pseudo foodie that impresses easily with claims of "French" cuisine. Any self respected French cook (let alone a chef) would probably die before serving pre-made crepes...

One of my happy place in Wilmington. I go there quite often and love their food. I had the hash bowl for the first time today. And they were very accommodating about making a simple crepe with just sugar and lemon juice. Its crepe day in my country and I like simple crepe. Their onion and goat cheese tart is also delicious. I do not drink coffee but my friend really like his coffee. Also I love the fact they use Duralex glass, you can find "your age" at the bottom :) The place is small but perfect for tiny folks like me. We need more place with this spirit in this city.

A cozy and intimate cafe with delicious, and sometimes unique, foods. Being in a small corner location, the staff provide quick and efficient service while being readily available when needed. Clean, well lit, and comfortably decorated to be inviting. A menu board allows you to choose your meal options without the clutter of a paper menu or needing the server to repeat themselves. Definitely worth going out of your way for a fine meal with a friend or two.

Finally, a place I can eat without participating in the horrifying practice of factory farming. The food is great, healthy, affordable. It isnt laden with sugar or fat or filler. The meat is properly raised, the vegetables are season, local and organic. These people care about what they are doing here. They even know where their eggs come from. Thank God. I could have cried. Drop in. Have some lunch. You will be so glad you did.

Ive been dining at Fresh Thymes for two years now and I cant begin to tell you how comforting it is to eat at this great little cafe. The food is always fresh, tasty and filling. The place is always clean, bright, and full of cool people. The owners know your name and your likes/dislikes. My only regret is that I cant make it there more often. Get there early and bring cash (no CC)! Well worth the trip!!!

I had the yogurt and have been craving it ever since. It is locally made, plain yogurt with the smoothest consistency and flavor-not bitter. It is served with a few berries, thin layers of granola that doesnt almost break your teeth, and a little sprinkling of what tasted like cinnamon sugar. It is a good choice for take out if you are on the run! I cannot wait to get back there soon.

Was hoping for mid-level food, got freezer burnt, no skill quality crepe at best. I was stunned at how bad the food was. I boxed it to go so to not seem rude in the moment but I threw it out. A philsbury toaster strudel has more flavor, or maybe even a pop tart and Im not kidding. Worst crepe AND coffee Ive ever had in any state.

French toast was overall great, bit too sweet, not enough savory. Hot chocolate was great and had bits of nice melted chocolate. Macchiato was spot on, probably the best Ive had at a cafe in a long time. The omelette was quite flat and dry. Despite there being gruyere, hardly any flavors stood out. Overall, drinks good, food OK.

Im biased because this is my friends restaurant. However the food is delicious. Everything is made daily, in-house from fresh ingredients. Many ingredients are organic or local. The food is crafted with love. The sitting area is quaint and fills up quickly. Items are pricey, but quality food and service makes it worthwhile.

The food here is so tasty and fresh youll never know its so good for you. There is always a daily special or soup of the day. I enjoy the relaxed cafe atmosphere too. Sometimes they have a live music or special events. The prices are easy on the pocketbook too. Overall a great place to sit down and eat good food.

The owners are very kind. The chocolate chip cookies were probably the best cookies Ive ever had. My boss had their apple pie and said its amazing also. Ive heard nothing but wonderful things about everyones experiences. Plus they decorated the inside so tastefully and cute!!

Fresh Thymes is the only restaurant I go to where I know the owners by name. The food is fabulous & fresh. I always leave feeling satisfied and looking forward to my next visit. What a perfect jem to Wilmington. So glad I saw the open sign & decided to give it a try!

Stopped on a Sunday afternoon for espresso and pastries. The café is cozy and well-lit. The staff was friendly and attentive, the pastries were excellent, and the espresso was top notch. I will definitely be returning to try the crêpes, this is a great little spot!
