We went on a Saturday night featuring live music when entertaining out of town guests. The music was horrible, atleast the first performer. Our friend said it was "like listening to nails on a chalkboard." We waited over 2hrs after sitting and ordering to get out food, it was mediocre and flavorless. Our waitress, who was very nice, comped our chips and salsa, which was nice, but the chips were cheap and not very good, so we only ate them out of extreme hunger anyway. After eating we just wanted to get out of there, but had to wait painfully long to get a check. I was told later by a friend that the place "has gone down hill" recently. I hope they get their act together, because this place has the potential to be an amazing neighborhood place. For now, it is where I regret taking guests, especially when they said "atleast it is memorable," for being so bad.

If you have ever dreamt of turning your house into a bar come see it in action! Walk up to the door like your soliciting products for your kids school field trip and have a seat at the cozy four person bar! The hipster staff will welcome you and serve you “Bellefonte Brewing” beers that are absolutely satisfying. I admire the Unisex bathroom complemented by a full cast iron tub. It shouts, “We are progressive take a pee and a bath if you’d like!” This experience shouldn’t be missed!

My wife and I had a truly wonderful dinner with the owners, Dave and Donna! The food is fantastic, the menu is diverse with great options for all, the full service bar has just about anything you could ask for including local beers, the atmosphere is amazing with live music every night, and the staff is friendly and attentive. I highly recommend it!

This place Is absolutely unique and fun. Beautiful artwork, awesome bands and on nice days they have the porch to be out on. The food is great, they have different specials every day and they have great beer on tap! Definitely worth checking out. Also the staff is so helpful and friendly

The Bellefonte Cafe is a quaint home turned into a bar restaurant and run by a local family. I live two hours away and make the drive many times a year. I enjoy the friendly and welcoming staff & atmosphere, the delicious food, and local musical Talent almost every night.

Cool outdoor spot for the area. Service is so slow you go back in time and leave younger than when you came... this is consistent. If you have a lot of time and dont need to do anything to have a 2 hour appetizer and beer, this place cant be beat. Guacamole is always good.

Great food, super friendly. Low priced reasonable portion size (read as small, but very inexpensive). I can actually afford an appetizer and an entree, and not feel sick from eating too much. Still end up paying less than an entree somewhere else.

Soooooo nice, I loved stumbling on this place! They grow their own vegetables for lots of the menu items and have tons of healthy choices too. Plus, A BAR and outdoor seating. Such a great place, cant say enough good things about it.

Great Sunday brunch from Noon to 3PM. With a killer acoustic trio on Sundays with brunch. The best bloodys around, and great hand-made-home-cooked food! I go all the time, great place to hang out and have a cold one on Sundays.
