Not only are the waiters/waitresses too incompetent to get a simple order right, the restaurant itself is very unclean. First, they have people cleaning tables who are also serving food (eww). Second, the glasses and silver ware have dried food/stains all over them. Finally, if you arent sold yet I can only imagine how sanitary the kitchen and cooks are. The proof of this is the next day my mom and I got deathly sick after eating at this establishment -- hugging the toilet almost every hour. Flavored syrup and their special menu options I know are tempting but save your body the health risk and pick another breakfast location.

HORRIBLE! The 4 of us waited 15 minutes to even be acknowledged at the door. Then we waited an hour for an appetizer which means we waited 1 hour and 35 minutes for 3 plates of food that were COLD. I called for the manager twice after 45 minutes and cold good ahe decided to come out to let me know they were short staffed and she was doing inspections. The employee paid no attention to the poin one of the customers could have chocked and the wouldnt even know. 2 servers taking tables, 1 seating the door and a wait list could have simply solved their "inspection" issue. Never again

My mom and sister and I went to Westfarms before and decided to get something to eat. Got to IHOP at around 3:50 and sat down at around 3:55. So far so good. Waited a good 10 minutes before a server came a got our order. (By the way, there were 5 tables filled including us). Waited until about 4:50 to get our food which came out on plates that had a weird green substance and got on the food. By the time we got our check and left it was 5. Never going there again. The cooks were leaving and no one had even gotten food. It was horrible. ZERO STARS IF I COULD

We went on a Wednesday night at 5 p.m. There were 6 cars total so we knew it wouldnt be busy. From placing our order to receiving our food (after asking why the long wait) was 45 minutes. The waitress disappeared and never came back to fill waters and milks. Never offered an explanation to what the wait was. Had to ask for boxes and check while she was at the table cause who knew when wed see her again. It was clean, only one sink worked in the ladies room. Will not go back there again. Id go to the Dennys down the road.

Typical busy chain deal. Understaffed for how busy it is on a weekend, food outside of our pancakes was absolutely awful , over or under cooked. Waitstaff is in a hurry to get you out once you get your food but slow to come over and take even a drink order. Honestly reccomend if you have to have IHOP you drive to Waterbury or Wallingford. This one is a mess. 2 stars because Im a butter pecan syrup addict and the pancakes are worth it if you have the patience of a saint.

We were so hyped to go to IHOP after throwing it down hard style at Lake Compounce. Things started out great. Got some nice beverages, placed our orders. Then, everything changed when the fire nation attacked. Not really, we just didnt see our server for then next hour or so. No exaggeration. This was around 10:30 or so and only 3 or 4 other tables were seated, it was almost empty. The staff apologized and I have no grudges but its the principle of the matter. Cmon ok

First try, 2 days after they opened, took too long to bring the food, got the order wrong, then were grabbing dishes out from underneath you. Second try, the food was cold. Third try, took too long to bring out the food again, forgot our appetizer. Fourth try, I had to ask to be waited on because no one was coming to wait on us, all the waiters were walking around looking clueless. Very disappointed, have no problem with any other iHop.

I went here and the waitress stole money off my card. I had to call the cops and almost got the media involved I was so pissed. The food is ok I got served and we had almost raw bacon on our plates and they took some of the eggs from my plate and put it on my kids plate you can definitely tell the huge difference. Our food even took over 45 mins just to come out. I am beyond pissed and will never come back

I came in today with a total of 4 of us and we waited 1 hour half and we were served our drinks and never attended again . The waitress never acknowledge us after to let us know where our food wa . Customer service was horrible . How long does it take to make eggs ? Very disappointed in IHOP. Walked in Dennys and had our food in 15 mins from the door to the table .

Terrible. 3rd time here and nothing has improved!! Do yourself a favor and drive by!! We finished eating 15 minutes ago and nobody has returned to collect our check or bring us containers for our take home.. Awful. Just awful!! Close the doors immediately if not sooner.. And I never complain!! Had big hopes for this place when they opened... Not anymore!!

I wasnt impressed with the place. The menu was good however they were out of several items including bacon. Service was good however cleaners needed to pay more attention. I was trying to enjoy my meal while my view was another table with food crumbs on the floor and some sort of liqud on the seat. It just didnt lend to an appetizing environment.

Ate there once. Food was barely edible. Same odd smell other people have mentioned. Staff acted like having you eat there was a burden. Location was not busy (maybe four or five tables). Asked for extra napkins, server walked by 5 minutes later and tossed them on tablet asking "is that enough?" Yes its enough IHOP. Will never eat there again.

Went in for an interview as dishwasher via an ad on craigslist. Very unprofessional, uncomfortable and disorganized. Asked irrelevant and personal questions, like why I made my decisions for college, while mocking my career choice. Does not even have the decency to contact me regarding the interview afterwards, even after leaving a message.

The only good thing was that i spoke my mind when my husband went to pay for our check and walked out without paying (took one for the team) because i was wet from an entire cup of apple juice spilling on me from the waitress. Also, food came out barely warm sent to fix it and other food items that were hot now were warm. Worst ever!

Extremely slow service and little to no attention paid to the customers. This is my second time here and Im not impressed. The first time we came a fired employee came back into the restaurant and cursed everyone out yelling for several minutes.

Stopped on Saturday morning with the family. Restaurant looked very clean. The food had great presentation and tasted even better! Servers treated my mom like a princess and made us feel fantastic. Job well done Nilsson. !!!

Have been to this location 4 times now and every time the service has been terrible. Only once did the food come as ordered. Even though we live in town we will drive to another ihop before going here again.

Horrible service, ordered our food and drinks, food took 45 mins, waiter never returned to see if we needed anything or refills, staff was standing at front counter on there phones. Horrible experience.
