One day while driving around my favorite town , I decided to stop in. I happen to love the way this restaurant looks. It is simple and pretty , with semi-traditional seating surrounded by rice-paper. The restaurant is very clean. The menu ; extensive. Staple Japanese foods like sushi and sashimi , but they also offered things like Udon noodles and Aged tofu. I ordered a combination that included three rolls - yellow tail scallion , tuna and salmon. I also ordered Scallop sashimi. My I also add that the staff was WONDERFUL. My waitress was polite and kind , the sushi chef even gave me a completely free salad of white tuna , cucumber and sauce while I waited. It was delicious. Then my meal came. The sushi was expertly rolled , tight , fresh and filled with fish - not skimpy like some places. the sashimi was a large scallop , also extremely fresh and well presented. Everything was beyond excellent and the bill only came to around 12 dollars ! I know this is now my number one favorite place to get sushi. I hope they stay open for a very long time :]

The staff is friendly, service is good and the food is tasty. Miso soup is spot on, ginger carrot dressing also good. The sushi is really awesome, I usually order the Tuna, its perfect in every way. Veggie platter is also really good...when the fryer is already heated up, if it isnt already heated up when you order, the batter doesnt get golden brown and the veggies are sopping in grease. Seems to happen more in the afternoon. All in all, I love this place and definitely recommend.

This establishment does not even deserve one star! Eat here if you would like to be hovered over by three different servers yet receive nothing you have asked for! My Husband ordered an app which they made an entirely different yet expected us not to notice- when we told them it is wrong & do not want, we were still charged and told we ordered wrong. Its sad Litchfield needs great sushi but this place simply fails time after time!

Food is actually really good, the salmon was delicious , good rice to fish ratio, heres the kicker for the AYCE - limit 3 orders, so make them count- i joke because its not really AYCE if youve got a limit of 3 orders- food came out quick and there were a few large groups- waitress seems mad at the world , who cares i just want my food. Plus Kani and Alaska Kani are yummy!!

My husband and I go here every week! The sushi is fantastic, the service if friendly and they apreciate their customers! We are convinced that Kawasaki has the best Sushi in CT by far! The price is affordable and worth every bite! We are very big sushi fans and we stand by this place, their suchi I the very best! I do not know how else to put it! 5 stars!!!! Delicious!

We have tried sushi at restaurants in Norwalk, Westport, Fairfield, Southbury, Waterbury, and Danbury, and while theyve run from adequate to quite good, they suffer by comparison to this newcomer. Though the decor could use an upgrade, Kawasaki has super-fresh fish, prepared expertly, presented well and served by an attentive and courteous waitstaff.

Very good food. I am not a fan of "all you can eat" places, but this place is an exception. Everything was very good! They do need to hire more servers. There was only one woman working on the night we went. She did her best, but it was ridiculous that she had so many people to wait on all alone.

Weve been coming here for 3 years. Love the place. the sashimi is always fresh, the Litchfield roll is a real winner. One caveat: The staff barely speaks any English. Enough to take your order but ask them anything else and they are lost!

Not too great of service from the waitresses. It seemed like they lack good verbal English communication skills. It probably is due to their having Asian customers most of the time when native language might be spoken.

Cute little all you can eat (you can only order from this menu 3x) the all you can eat menu is limited. And I am a picky sushi eater so I had some problems with this. Will have to try from the regular menu soon.

I love the Fried Rice here, and my friend basically worships the soba noodles. I also loved the California roll and the hibachi dishes are absolutely phenomenal.

The staff here wins again. They are so sweet. There is also an extensive all-you-can-eat lunch menu for poeple with shellfish allergies.

That place was beyond terrible. The place was dirty and the food tasted worse than dog food. Thank heavens it is no longer around.
