The food is good, but Ive been more than annoyed with trying to get seating. Its not so much a big deal that the seating isnt there, I get that, but several times Ive called ahead and asked what the wait is, or been there and asked what the wait is, and been misled. Being told 10-15 minutes and then waiting over an hour is a little ridiculous. If it had happened only once, fine, but this has so far been every time Ive gone there, which is 3 or 4 times. Still. Three stars because the food is creative and better than your average Mexican place.

Food was creative, but still amateurish. Whats worse, thought Id support my local business and order a bunch of food for a party; after repeatedly stating my budget limits and asking what the proposed menu would cost, I got a "well make it work" kind of answer. Well my budget was more than doubled when I went to pick up the food that day, and the vast majority went into pounds of roasted brussel sprouts. Never went back.

Tacos were fairly appetizing, but the manager was rude and refused to serve a member of our party beer because "his license was fake." The manager claimed he had seen fake I.D.s before and that his was.. even though it was real. They also did not provide the correct change upon payment. Overall, terrible service, decent food, and a funny story to tell our friends about why we will not be going back there.

First time there; friendly staff, very fast service. I bought some Taco Amricanos to go. They really hit the spot with their juicy real ground beef, thin crunchy taco shell, and toppings that make for an excellent flavor sensation. They come with a couple of side sauces (one hot) and a half slice of a very mild green chili pepper. I will be back to explore their other dishes.

We went for the first time a few weekends ago and I cant stop raving about it! The waiter was friendly and very knowledgeable. The margarita (sunrise) was phenomenal. Everything we ordered from the chips and pico to the tacos and brussel sprouts were amazing. I would go back in a heartbeat! A bit pricey, but honestly when food is that good, I dont mind paying for it.

I had a wonderful meal on Sunday with my boyfriend...great tacos and drinks.... BUT my daughter and 3 friends who are 18 were refused a table tonight. It was my daughters 18th birthday and she wanted to eat ..not drink alcohol... What is the policy? Seems very strange to refuse these lovely18 year old girls at 6pm on a Wednesday? i dont get it....

Given how hard it is to find good Mexican in New York, this place was an unexpected surprise, not to mention that the prices were ludicrously reasonable by NY standards. I got the blackened swordfish torta and it blew me away. The margaritas were good too. The Bodega Surprise cocktail was a little sweet for my taste, but also very enjoyable.

Ive never had a more delightfully served Margarita. The wait staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful, definitely ask for their suggestions. You can tell they love food (& Tequila!). While all the food is great dont miss out on the blistered brussel sprouts.

I love this place. Theyve got a huge selection of great drinks and the food is delicious. Last time I went I had the queso fundido which is some sort of combination of cheese and heaven. Highly recommended.

Was told 30 min wait. Came back and waited for another 30 mins. Poor wait time management. Ordered a soda and was given an alcoholic beverage. Food was ok but over priced. Cant recommend to others.

Very delicious and unique Mexican inspired cuisine. A pretty small location so one should call ahead or a decent wait should be expected. Great ambience and an extensive tequila list.
