My friend and I are locals in Elizabeth and frequent this location several times a week. The store manager and staff are always wonderful friendly and attentive and the food taste great and fresh as always. Today on our visit the district manager who is disheveled looking to say the least was working the line and not wearing a hat. We asked the other girl that was working with him whom we know well to make our sandwiches because his gross hair and beard was flying all over the place, I am really surprised no one else has said something. I managed a restaurant for many years and my friend was the proprietor of one and we have never seen somebody especially a district manager disregard Health codes so blatantly. Obviously, our food choices for lunch in Elizabeth Colorado are limited and we would like to continue going to the subway as it is one of our favorite places to eat in town but if we encounter this problem again I can assure you we will not be returning.

When ordering my sandwich, a reuben, I asked for provolone cheese and I was told that I HAD to have Swiss and that they can not put anything on it besides what the "recipe" calls for!!!! The girl was very rude and when I asked if she was serious she said with attitude that she was serious!!!! Turned around and walked out. I thought at subway you were able to have the sandwich made the way YOU the paying customers wants, guess not.

I was ordering a sandwich and the manager got upset with me because I had originally stated I wanted the chicken sandwich and she put the chicken breast. When I corrected her she got very angry was huffing and puffing and telling me I needed to be very clear. When I asked her if making a sandwich was putting her out and I could leave she was very rude. Not the first time I have found her rude.

Hours have been cut and service is miserable. I wasnt in a hurry and the kids really wanted to eat there, so I waited. I will not go back. The counter person was wonderful, but it is not a one person job. Subway food is not good enough to warrant a 30 minute wait to order.

As long as you go to the subway in Safeway parking lot youll have a great experience but if you go to the Walmart one youll be very disappointed they scemp you on everything
