This is a pretty cool hole in the wall type restaurant in Colorado Springs Food: The food here is pretty good. It is all your typical bar/american type of food, burgers, fried things, pizza. The pizza and wings here are very good and some of my favorite out of any place that Ive been too. They have plenty of drinks and drink specials to choose from so it is a great place to go hang out with some buds or bring a date. Atmosphere: This place is pretty cool, decorated with all different types of sports memorabilia. They have plenty of TVs to watch the game or event of your choosing. There are plenty of tables and sections to sit at depending on where you would like to be including a nice outdoor patio area. On the weekends they usually have live music so it caan get pretty loud in there but is still a very good time.

I held a grad party here for about 25 people and the food came out cold due to it being prepared 30 minutes prior to our arrival. When we tried to log our complaint and dissatisfaction about the error we were met by a belligerent drunk owner that started yelling at us and puffing up his chest as if he wanted to fight. He ultimately had to be removed from the area by his wait staff. While the pizza and wings were fairly good and the wait staff was excellent we will never go back. I would suggest anyone considering visiting this business should go somewhere else where you have less chance of being accosted.

I had my heart set on the Ribs, unfortunately they ran out of ribs. I could smell the ribs from the next table over, I have had them at Back east before and they were fantastic. But what the heck Gave me a chance to try some thing different. I opted for the Smokey Bleu. It was very good and would not hesitate to order it again. It was cooked just as I ordered. My Dinner guest ordered the Philly Cheese Steak Hoagie It was very good . I added a picture of it to the places page

We moved from Florida to Colorado Springs about a month ago. While we are waiting to close on our house we are renting an apt across the street from Back East. So we decided one friday night to walk across the street and see what all the fuss is about! now we know. They are AWESOME! the food is great, the bands are super fun and the bartenders, managers and the patrons are super friendly! Totally love this place

This is by far one of the best bar and grills I have ever been to. It makes it even more exciting to know I just happened to stumble across it while on vacation. This Philly Cheese Steak was as authentic as one of out Philadelphia and our server, Kelsey, made the entire experience enjoyable. Its a great atmosphere and everyone (patrons and staff) are friendly.

I work across the street from Back East Bar & Grill. I have probably visited at the very least once a month for the last 2 years. Every time I go the food is so great. I am currently eating a calzone with the caprese salad for the time and Back East never ceases to knock my socks off. Great food and strong drinks, you really couldnt ask for more.

Great food. We had the Philly Fries and the Garlic Parmesan Boneless Wings. The hostess and waiter were very nice. We came during an extremely busy time and the only tables left were reserved. The hostess let us sit at one until another opened up. It was nice of her to let us move over once another group left. Will be back to try more food.

Its a pretty good atmosphere. Food is alright for bar food. Pizza is the prime item to order here. We usually come here for trivia on Wednesday nights but the bar can be very loud and you cant hear him announce questions or results, even on the loud speaker. However, the questions are broadcast on TV in the bar.

Great food! wouldnt exacly call it back east food considering what New York and the East Coast presents in the restaurant business!! Drinks are a whole different story!! Absolutely horrible!! watered down margaritas and so on, just wasnt satisfied at all with the quality of them.

A few selections of good beer on tap, I got a Uinta Hop Notch IPA and it was pretty refreshing after a long hike. For lunch I made my own pizza and it was really good. My buddy got jalapeño cheese stuffed tater tots, but I think theyre known more for their pizza.

This place is legit. Super clean and fun bar. Love music last night and they were awesome as well! The server was attentive and genuine. The bartender was beyond amazing and made us feel right at home. We will be back...this place is truly a gem!

Pleasant food but drinks could use work. Martinis were not made right and we ordered a blue sapphire martini, came out clear and not blue. The margaritas were watered down and no flavor, it was like drinking a watered down watermelon koolaid.

Pretty good place. The music is often too loud and the sports fans can get outta control sometimes. Nothing wrong with that since there are sports on most days but just giving people who dont like that a heads up.

If you want a drink, be ready to wait at least 15 minutes before youre even NOTICED, and another 15 minutes when closing out a tab. I went here with co-workers and it was the same thing on a weeknight and weekend...

Solid beer selection and dependable food quality. Docked a star for prices. 6 and 7 dollars for pints of craft brew are a little steep. But I guess if people are willing to pay it then they can charge it.....

Awesome Pizza (especially The Beast), great evening bartender (Jason), and just a great atmosphere for kicking back and enjoying a drink with friends. Its the only bar I actually enjoy going to in the Springs.

Always good food, particularly the pizza. The staff is friendly and the glass never goes empty. A real neighborhood feel and all the sports you need on the TVs. Also very kid friendly if not too late.

Excellent food every night of the week. The menu has standard pub food, but the specials is really where this place shines. Food worthy of a 4 star restaurant at a local bar. A diamond in the rough.
