Three little griddles review Hole in the wall restaurants like three little griddles, have the best food. Breakfast isnt everyones flavor, but this food will make your day. Never will you find a better collection of foods and services. It may seem underwhelming and small when walking up to the door however an amazing staff and decor will take your breath away. You walk into a small restaurant and are met with a cheerful staff. They are friendly, polite, and chill about reservations. The host/ess uses a texting system so you dont need to worry about a buzzer or someone calling on you. I do wish the severs would spend more time at each table. There waiters are fast and get your orders in immediately and bring fresh jugs of water to you in a timely manner. Remember to tip your server after the good meal. Wait times will vary greatly depending on day and time, average wait time is forty-five minutes. The restaurant lacks a waiting area making it difficult on weekends when the place is packed. The food is breakfast and theres a few amazing options. I tried Eggs binidict, its the best place for this dish. The eggs where firm on the outside but filled with a golden runny yoke. English muffins are fresh made and warm. They also have specials menu containing things like bananas foster pancakes. I ordered lunch my next visit and obtained a mildly good ruban. Fresh and hot as always toasted rye bread and corned beef piled high. The Toasted bun couldnt hold the amount of dressing on it and it soon went soggy. I really suggest going with the breakfast items they’re really good and portions are huge. A breakfast burrito is fairly large and filled to the brim with yummy options. The price is reasonable, and most items will be in the thirteen dollar range. Considering all the possibilities this price is fair and delivers that satisfying taste you want. The atmosphere despite feeling slightly cramped still has a pleasant feeling. Maple syrup and the scent of fresh baked goods breathe through the building. The seating is so close you could have a conversation with the person next to you. Its not hard to find something you like on there menu its organized and easy to find that one dish you just have to try. Table settings are very breakfast casual basic silverware and cloth napkins. They have a bar area but I being underage have not sat there. Sound is another problem, as the building is so small everyone talking over each other creates a very loud atmosphere. They have a small bench right by the front door for waiting, but it is about three feet to the table in front of you. But what they have achieved in the size of the building is impressive. This would definitely be the place I would bring friends. Three little griddles always impresses me every time I walk into the door. If breakfast food is your thing, I highly recommend eating here. I would rate this place a good four and a half stars based on the food being fair price compared to portion and taste. Waiters are fast and easy going. The part I really dont like about this place and why I dropped my rating was the actual size of the building. I hate being squished while im eating, But I will return again to have another item off that menu any day. Unfortunately they close right after lunch is over so get in while you can.

Sams #3 is our familys "go to" diner. Breakfast there simply cannot be beat, but we enjoy lunch and an occasional dinner too! Start out with an extra spicy epic bloody mary. They make their own mix in big batches and you will not be disappointed. You can load it up with bacon and all sorts of accoutrements but plain, simple and spicy is what I always choose. Next make sure to get an appetizer of a hot gooey cinnamon roll. We usually split one because they are bigger than your fist, doughy with lots of runny frosting. Next up- you must try their skillets. They have potatoes on the bottom and veggies, meats, cheese and eggs of your choice all smothered in the most delectable green chili you can find in Denver. While Sams has many Mexican specialties, there are also Greek dishes. A strange combo possibly, but Sams does it well. Be advised you may need to wait to sample this family run special place but it is totally worth it. There is something for everyone on their menu and you will roll out of there a happy camper.

We love breakfast so we tried this place for the first time today. We went just before 9 on a saturday and were seated right away with just 2 of us. Larger groups may have to wait longer but the tables seemed to turn quickly. The setting is casual. Lots of families with little kids and teens and plenty of couples too. They serve Dazbog coffee with free refresh. The ebelskins are amazing "pancake holes" that are light delicate and flavorful. Not to be missed. We had a savory veggie pancake and shrimp and grits as well. The pancake was huge. It takes up the whole plate, literally. Heavy but good. I added an egg on top..the shrimp and grits are a special. Well seasoned but very rich. Service was friendly and prompt. Prices were comparable to other places, a smidgen higher than La Peep for example. Breakfast for 2 adults was $43 after tip.

Very below average. Some of their menu items looked creative, but the basics didnt hit the mark. I ordered the carnitas Benedict from the specials menu, and the hollandaise was very bland. No real flavor whatsoever. The English muffin underneath was soggy. Im used to Benedicts having a slightly crispy muffin so it doesnt cave in to the sauce. Hollandaise is supposed to be rich and tangy in flavor. The coffee was very watered down and not hot. The homemade lemon curd doughnut holes were pretty good, but came late, when we were almost finished with the rest of the meal. The worst parts? The server forgot my drink order, and I ordered my breakfast potatoes crispy - but they arrived next to my sub-par Benedict soaked and soggy in grease. Very small space, so expect to wait at peak times.

From the moment I walked in I felt unwelcome. Nobody greeted me. This tall man looked at me and looked around the restaurant (they were busy) then looked at me and said, "we only have two tables available and they are for a group of four" then he sighed and said "I guess you can sit here if you still want to stay" so I sat with my 3 year old daughter and it took a long time for someone to come get our drink order (which was only water) and on top of that the waitress was rude also. Took about 30 minutes to get my food when everyone that arrived after us, got their meal before us. The only friendly experience I had was with the young man who brought my food. I dont know why I was treated so different but I will never recommend this place to anybody I know.

Service was dismal with a typical small business atmosphere, meaning if you are not a regular why are you here. Food was not very good, potatoes were under cooked, bacon was so over cooked it was white? Pancakes were a really bad choice, spongy with no flavor. Oh the eggs were cooked as ordered. Seating is almost kindergarten like. Almost forgot to add the water carafe at the table that splashes everywhere when pouring a glass of water, but it does save the waitress/waiter from having to bring water, my waitress wouldnt even fill the first glass!
