Note: We went on a soft opening weekend and there are bound to be kinks on your first weekend open. I will review again in a few months and fully expect this place to go up to 5 stars. HQ Gastropub was a fun place to try out. Its music theme based with a huge bar and seating next to open windows. The menus are all created from old record covers. The weekend we went there was a limited menu. We tried the calamari and shrimp appetizer. The buffalo chicken lollipop appetizer and the regular cheese burger and a cattleman burger. The appetizers were very good although the calamari itself could have used a little more seasoning. The buffalo chicken lollipops were amazing though. Just the right amount of sauce and very easy to eat given the long bone. The burgers could use some work and, again, I think with time will end up being very very good. I ordered mine medium rare and it came out well done in some places and raw with a sear in other places. It was the cattleman and served on mustard toast with onion strings, egg over medium, and has the potential to have me coming back a lot. The other burger was cooked appropriately. I think you should definitely go check this place out and have a few great drinks. Their drink list is extensive and it will add a lot of fun to the neighborhood.

Very nice property, no entertainment unless you like Rhianna on 50 screens. Good Drinks, food and if you complain the waitress about garbage food, good luck, gos to owner whom promptly explains to you how successful hie is and how basically he doesnt care about his bagged chips, canned guac, and canned saulsa. Maybe if you hate live music, and real food. And just wanna hang in the nice atmosphere wit your buds, then go for it. Very nice and custom windows, perfect location. But its like South Beach, you get the location, and you paying crazy money for the 64 oz fizzie drink or 7/11 slushie drink. JINMHO. I plan to open a club with gerat over bands and if as the owner says they are bad for a night and screw up my business than so be it. Im not only about the money!

Very nice selection of beer and great drinks. Service is questionable at best. The people in my party ordered food and it took 45 minutes to arrive at the table. Further, I ordered a bet and after 20 minutes approached the bar and ordered directly receiving a beer immediately. The beer ordered through my server showed up when I was half done with the one from the bar. Thats at least 35 minutes. Cool vibe and good place. Moral of the story: order directly with a bartender for the best drinking and eating experience

Why all the way down in the Mission? This would be my ideal neighborhood bar and I wish I could transport it with me wherever I move. I cant really say why I love this place so much - but its a great bar to hang out at on a weekend afternoon. The staff is really friendly, knowledgeable, and the beer selection is good. They definitely carry some imports you dont find at other bars (Hitachino). Plus, the Utz mix is such a great bar snack!

Place rocked by design... Staff was prompt & hip. I enjoyed ahi tacos both ways. Chunks of ahi... With just the right quac, spice and texture. The beer offerings are some of the best Ive seen! Free parking & other places around too. More importantly, the vibe was positive & regulars, along with staff, chatted like friendly pub folk. Date? Go! Friends night out.... Go! You will not be disappointed by stellar beer offerings and fab food!

Theres this sassy tatted up bartender here that looks like she rode in on a Harley, tassels flowing majestically in the wind. She wouldnt give me her number and got upset when I tried to play the the double necked guitar on the wall, picture related (I promise Im really good). Only wished they had at least one of the 500 TVs playing the masterpiece that is Bee Movie.

Service slow and inattentive. Too many employees chatting with each other and hugging while we waited for our first round of drinks, then a second round ! Pay attention to your customers ! It was like pulling teeth to try and put in an order for drinks and then food. We would have ordered more but left, tired of waiting until someone would be willing to tend to us.

Love coming here when im around the Woodland Hills area. Bartenders are courteous and they know what theyre doing, especially Christian. He is always on time with his drinks and his suggestions on food and drinks always hit the spot! You must try the buffalo cauliflower and you can never go wrong with the BBQ chicken flatbread, if youre hungry.

One of the Nicest restaurant/pub in the valley. Energetic ambience, good vibes and great decor. The food was good but the staff made the difference. Dedicated, recommending and delivering with a smile. And as they said: This is my bar - until they close or that Ill find better... But as long as they stay the course, I doubt that!

Pros: Good burgers, which is a rarity at a sports bar, and the waitresses are tall, slim, friendly and hot, ok beer selection, and prices are alright. Cons: parking, and the douche bag guys that work there...you know the type they think theyre prettier than the girls...... still, great for happy hour, recommended! 4/5 stars

Katie, also known as Buns to a secret few, is the best bartender! Shes fun and personable and knows good food....recommended the Bad Life Decisions burger. Holy moly. Second time here, second time served by Katie, and were definitely coming back. Not only for her bomb service, but for the bomb food she recommends!

Great drinks and customer service. The food on the other hand were another story the mashed potatoes were powdered and dry the herb chicken was soooooo dry I couldnt even cut into it. The broccoli came with three pieces. It wasnt worth 17 dollars. The sliders were great. They must be known for great burgers.

If there is Hell, this is what it would look like. I have been to hundreds of bars over the decades, and this is the most torturous one I have ever come across. LOUD, horrific pop music with video screens in every sight line. Unbelievably overpriced drinks. Like Vegas x500 in the Valley.

Amazing food for a reasonable price. Absolutely the best burger Ive ever had, & Ive had a few. The HQ Gastropub burger is to die for! Our group also had the truffle tots & bacon & cheese tots, both of which were fantastic. Im definitely making this place a regular when Im in CA.

This will always be my go to place on this side of the valley. From the first time I walked in here I felt welcomed. The staff are amazing and have become friends and the food is always perfect. They can always make you the perfect drink no matter your choice of liquor/spirit.

I keep coming back here for the atmosphere and the food. Prices here are reflective of the atmosphere, neighborhood, quality and people. there are over 35 high quality flat screens broadcasting music videos and sports. This place makes for a great first date place too.
