This place is BY FAR my absolute favorite sushi place! Where do I even start? The food is awesome and very reasonable. You can tell everything is fresh and well prepared, not to mention delicious! Prices are more than reasonable considering how large the servings are. Average price for a roll is $10 but they are gourmet and not skimpy with portion sizes by any means. Every day they have $2 sake bombs. Place has a relaxing atmosphere and friendly staff. I would definitely recommend Joy Sushi to anyone looking for a delicious, affordable sushi bar/resturaunt!

This is still my favorite sushi bar I have been to. Its very friendly and not pretentious or stuffy and the food is amazing! Make friends with the chefs and they will hook you up with free stuff. Personally, I love the octopus... salad, I guess youd call it. I never ordered it off the menu, but the owner has given me small bowls full almost every time I have gone in. A definite must try. I moved away months ago, but I find myself going back time and again. Its so worth the 40 minute drive!

This is my favorite sushi place period. There prices are a little higher but their portions are bigger and I have never been to a sushi restaurant that gives out so much free food to customers. The quality of their food is the best and their service is fast. Im blown away at how quickly they get food to you even when they are busy. I just cant say enough good things about Joy

The atmosphere is awesome, great for a mid-day luncheon. My favorite thing to order is the baked lobster rolls, since Im not a big fan of raw fish. They use to have a waitress that didnt give good customer service, but Im guessing they got rid of her since I dont see her anymore. The pricing is incorrect on the menu but its still comes out pretty cheap.

Good quality and prices arent bad. Can get busy on the weekends especially at the sushi bar. The baked lobster and baked crab rolls are my favorite along with the spicy tuna hand roll on soy paper (I opt to go without the seaweed). Good service and the waitresses have been helpful and prompt with service.

place is good staff didnt really understand my English lol. but other than that good flavor. I would come back. I personally dont like how they put the gratitude rate on my receipt for tip. kinda offensive. but would come back

Hands down best sushi place in the area. Always fresh, great service ands amazing, lively sushi chefs. They take the time to get to know their frequent customers and remember your name. Try the Jessica roll, you wont regret it!

BEWARE!! the menu prices are incorrect. you will be charged more at the register. The Owner thinks it will be too expensive to order new ones with the correct prices!! Watch your receipt.

This is another Whittier gem. The Volcano Salmon Roll just melts in your mouth and Godzilla Tuna Roll has the right amount of spiciness, both are delicious. Serice is excellent!
