We went in for our 6 year anniversary on Friday. Not one person sitting in back seating area. They said no seats available due to reservations so we sat at bar. Seats at bar were terrible. Who wants to look at dirty glasses and their dishwasher. Should b on the other side of bar and not for customers to look at. No ambiance! There was employees hanging out at end of bar messing around. I was hit by a bottle cap a guy employee was playing with. The food was good but small portions and not worth price. $35 for small filet, small side of beans and tiny piece of garlic bread. When we left it was a lot more crowded but still two seat tables never used the whole time we sat at bar eating. We could of easily ate at one of those tables they denied us.

The smoked tri-tip and linguisa are definitely the best deal. The other people in our party really enjoyed it. Wanted to try the pork chop, but after ordering was told they were out. Had the salmon instead, and it was good. Do not waste your money adding a house salad to your entrée, as you only get a little bit of lettuce with a couple of shredded carrots and a beet slice, served in a tiny bowl. The ambiance and decor were nice, with a cool firepit outside, but it was very loud where we sat inside near the back. We had a party of 6, and found ourselves practically yelling at other members in our group who werent sitting right next to us, in order to hold a conversation.

Never tried the food, but mw and my wife went there for brunch, and our experience was horrible. The server was extremely rude, had us sit there for 25 mins without serving us coffee, that we ordered right when we got in, but she served to people sitting outside... When we asked why, she gavr us an attitude and said she is doing the best she can. That where we couldnt take it anymore and cancelled our order and left

No complaints. Food was very good and the service was excellent. The menu is somewhat limited though. I thought it was a seafood restaurant but it is more Santa Maria BBQ, according to the waiter. They have very nice sides, Brussels and bacon, roots and shrooms, both very good. We also had the wedge, which was okay (not enough dressing or blue cheese). The bone-in 28 Oz rib-eye was excellent.

One of my favorite places Im really big on is Seasalt Woodfire Grill. They have great Santa Maria wine by the glass and fantastic food, as well as good service. They have these Santa Maria Fries I always get as an appetizer that are so good. The fries have beans, this great sauce, and vegetables on them. Another dish I love is the Tri-Tip Quesadillas.

I liked this place overall, the only thing I would note was the service for drinks was a bit slow and maybe that the happy hour is limited to the bar and fire pit area. The food was good, I recommend trying the cowboy caviar, it was better than I expected. Nice place to hang out and relax, pretty quiet environment even w lots of folks there.

Best of the Sea Legs offerings. Get the kids steak plate ($8), nachos, and cauliflower to share. The tri-tip was amazing. I generally do not like trip tip. So Sea Salt if you are listening, try making a brisket too! If you have any room left, the vanilla ice cream with olive oil and black lava salt for $7 will blow you away.

Im from the central coast of California, Santa Maria, and grew up with tri-tip! The portion of tri-tip I had was way too small, expecting bigger slices! Beans, salsa, and garlic bread were okay! The overall ambience was alright! I cook my tri-tip with mesquite hardwood! Better flavor and juicy tri-tip!

Went for a birthday party last night they recommended we sit out side for a larger party. Service was not good it took three hours for the entire meal only because of slow food delivery and bad management. Way over priced for eating in a Walmart parking lot. Super disappointed

We went last night for the first time to check it out, ordered the tri tip nachos and they were amazing!, (wanted more), the bartenders are very good at the fresh hand crafted cocktails, which were so good (the bourbon, ginger+apricot drink) we had to order a second round!

Went for breakfast, not sure Ill go back for breakfast. It was tasty but smaller portions. My friend got a breakfast burrito that was good sized. Great atmosphere, I think it would be a great place to grab a drink Ill update if dinner changes my feelings on this place.

The food was tasty and the decor was nice, but definitely felt buyers remorse afterwards. If you dont care about prices, this is a great place to check out. I think they have a full bar and a few beers on tap too. Indoor/outdoor and you should make reservations.

Omg Im in love with the bacon! I love smoked meats, this was just DELICIOUS! The pancakes were soft and fluffy. Only complaint was there was no salt and pepper for my eggs. She didnt ask, nor bring with the meal. But the bacon..... Perfect!

If you want a great steak, Santa Maria style that is cooked over live fire... in a funky cool environment. This is where you want to go. I suggest: Roots & Shrooms, Corn Elote, Tri Tip Nachos, Gin & Jam and dont forget Omars Pudding.

Good quality but way overpriced for what youre served. The salts are interesting but nothing worthy of naming the place for it. Save yourself the undue snobbery and go to Slaters 50/50 or Huntington Beach Beer Company instead.

Best poached eggs... had then with linguica and biscuits. The dinners are fantastic too. We love the smoked meats! Cooked to perfection with just the right seasonings... and its fun to try the different flavored salts.

Tri top nachos are my favorite, but everything is delicious! The portions are ginormous! Dont miss out on Sunday brunch! Tri tip hash is unreal! Wine, signature drinks. If you dont live in HB, its worth the drive.

Mediocre service, bland food. Kept scaled down probably so that the artisan salts shine through, but they couldnt even be tasted. Classic cocktails made far too sweet, with the exception of a stellar old fashioned!

They actually make a long island iced tea that isnt too sweet! Must haves include their steak (any) and their brownie with marshmallows and chocolatey goodness. Great for special occasions or a night out.

This was an expensive disappointment. To give the benefit of a doubt..it was newly opened. Maybe they just didnt have their act together yet. We probably will not waste our money here again.

Fries were cold when we received them. Ordered tri tip sandwich. Meat was tough and firstly. Tried to cut it. Couldnt cut with table knife. Beet salad and wine was excellent.

Great food but a little over priced. They have an amazing fire pit outside with a terrible view of the parking lot. Still a great fire pit though with great food and service.

Great food, great service, convenient location, indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating is totally cool with a big fire and heaters too. Try the sweet potato mash
