Tried Dialog Cafe with fellow Yelper turned friend Julienne D. (hi!) just recently. This place is located by Sunset Strip so parking is a bit of a drag. If you do end up parking on the street to the left of the cafe, make sure to check the signs on how to turn your wheels otherwise you might just get a ticket like I did Friday night. Julienne had a vanilla latte and I had the matcha latte. My matcha latte was amazing. Not too sweet which is just how I like my matcha. We also shared a waffle with strawberry and chocolate gelato. I thought the waffle was just OK but I like the gelato a lot. We found out later that night that the owner himself makes the gelato and for that, I give them props! Mm they also had pistachio gelato available and thats sounding reeaaaal good right about now. Lots of tables inside and outside of the cafe. Dont come here and expect the typical coffee shop experience of soothing music, etc as it is located on a busy street. Overall great cafe with friendly owners! Tip: Check in on Yelp and receive a free cookie or bag of chips!

We frequent coffee shops regularly in San Diego. We looked up coffee shops around us and immediately we were drawn to Dialog Cafe as it has great reviews. The young pleasant fella who took our order explained to us their unique Cold Brew system which was very interesting. We ordered a couple of Vanilla Lattes between us as well as the Roasted Vegetable Sandwich. I must say, it was absolutely delicious, fresh food from local farmers markets. As we sat on the comfortable sofa waiting for our food, the owner Raphael took interest in speaking with us and getting to know us. Such a sweet man, his wife and son were also working and greeting customers as they came and went. I myself am part of a family business and it is fantastic to see the love and soul that this family pours into their café and their strive for excellent warm customer service. From us to you all at Dialog, Happy New Year and we wish you continued success. All the best. Sean & Cambria

We were shooting a wedding at the London West Hotel, and decided to swing by here for breakfast. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating, but it gets really packed really quickly. The food was very reasonable and delicious. The portion is a little on the smaller side, but everything was top notch. This place honestly has the best avocado toast Ive ever eaten. The sandwich is typical of any brunch place. The service was okay, nothing stood out for me. The fact that you have to pay to park, and fight to find a seat in this place is quite a turn off. I would not be visiting here again until they are able to get rid of the limited seating situations. FYI: check in on yelp and get a free cookie, which was on the dry side, and not something I would waste my calorie on again.

Mostly went there to work from my laptop during coffee breaks. Pastrys are not fresh, some are from Costcos bakery but sold at french patisserie prices. Other time has a smoothie thas was more water than fruit. Other time got a cafe mocha and they used Nesquick chocolate syrup. Other time an expresso that was so off on shots It made a whole in my intestines. Worst of all...lady owner looks at you like a hawk waiting to kill. She has an unwelcoming fake smile that lasts 5 secs. Ypunger dude is ok but always busy on cell. This could be a great altertative to other similar in area but lacking customer service and Costco products its not the way to do so

This café is so so lovely. Its one of our favorite places to come eat breakfast! Their food is stellar and delicious. Personally, I cant believe how cheap it is compared to the quality of the food. Rafael is the owner with his wife and is the most down to earth, sweetest man. All of the staff are so nice and happy. Its a very warm family oriented environment. LOVE this place so so much!!!!! I would definitely recommend it to anyone! :) P.S. They make all of their food, pastries etc. with alkaline water that is filtered throughout the whole restaurant and they have it available to drink. So great!

I visited West Hollywood last week and wanted to find somewhere nice for breakfast, 4 of us from the UK found this place online so checked it out, absolutely fantastic, food was fresh, healthy and delicious, and the hospitality was amazing, the owner of this place is absolutely fantastic and really entertaining, this place could show the UK a thing or 2 about how to treat customers because it was the best customer experience weve ever had, just 10/10 must go. Thank you for our food and all being so friendly wonderful and hospitable :). Hannah

For the people who work there, they seem strange at first but you just need to get to know them, and they are very nice. Now some of their food isnt amazing, but it isn't bad, some things are overpriced, and some I recognized to be from my local Costco. The atmosphere is great 4/5, food gets a 3.5/5 (I would recommend them for breakfast and some lunch, their gelatos are great) service gets a 4/5, first impressions could be improved, but overal, I would give them a strong 4/5 for a family owned resteraunt.

Attention to detail in a coffee shop is really important to me. You can tell how everythings going to be by their drip coffee. If they pay attention to something most people just sip and go you know everything else is going to be good. And the drip coffee here is amazing. This place has a great atmosphere, a super friendly staff, wi-fi, decent parking, and a prime location for watching things go by. If youre in the area or are willing to take a drive for a good cup of joe, head here.

EVERY time we visit LA, Dialog is a regular stop for us, either in the morning for the best coffee and homemade breakfast, or in the afternoon for a pick-me-up and a cookie or macaroon (the best!). My husband always says, "A day without Dialog is like a day without sunshine" (...or was that Anita Bryant talking about orange juice in the 70s?....). Seriously, though, Dialog is a must-visit, family-operated with over-the-top quality -- and they know their mochas!!!! Enjoy!

It was a really great café. Coming from Argentina, looking for a place where I can sit down and enjoy a nice cup of espresso coffee or a good lunch while talking with my friends, this has truly been the place closest to what Ive been looking for in a café. Great attention, good prices, really tasty healthy food, amazing coffee, and best of all: I never felt rushed. The owner even came down and talked to us. It was really nice.

I like the food and the younger workers including the kids of the owners, the owners themselves however (older husband and wife) are absolute cancer. They are constantly getting orders wron, take up space when the place is busy and do nothing productive. I only hope they retire soon so this place could be a legit 5 stars. Im sure the oldest son will make this place even better.

I had a date here for a quick iced coffee, and it was an excellent time! The atmosphere is cool without being overbearing, the drinks were tasty, and one of the owners have us free gelato samples an hour after we ordered! The date might not have clicked with me, but the restaurant certainly did, and I can handily recommend it to anyone else!
