I call in a phone order but I was told to hold and then I was disconnected. Okay, maybe an accident. I call back and I am placed on hold again but this time I was not hung up on. I waited 2-3 minutes and the lady over the phone was polite while informing me that it would take 10 minutes for my order to be ready. I had to stop for gas so I showed up 20 minutes later thinking my order had to be completed. The girl in front asked me if I ordered the blah, blah and I said no. She responded okay they are working on your order. REALLY?!!! I waited another 10 minutes. I later find out my order was sitting there the whole time but someone put the wrong receipt on it! Okay, I am even willing to let this go. When I pay I was told "see you again soon," but NO APOLOGY! Do you think Im coming back here when the staff cant respond with a simple apology, they werent even busy! I go to eat in my car because at this point I am starving when I look at my side of fruit its cantaloupe slices, this isnt fruit! Fruit is a variety, why not just say cantaloupe slices?!!!! UNACCEPTABLE SERVICE PEOPLE!!!! The Norms in Claremont is the one to go to. I have never had to deal with INCOMPETENCE!

I walked in and asked if I can sit at the front counter host replied yes that will be fine. After being seated I waited 5 minutes before a server came to greet me apologized for the wait and asked if I was ready to order mind you I had no menu, but I was ready to order. My food came very fast which made me feel better until I noticed I had no utensils to eat with. Then the over easy eggs where not fully cooked I tried eating them anyways but so gross and cold I didnt want to make a screen because from the looks of it I was sitting two seats over from the owner and wife of Norms having lunch and they were being waited on hand and foot forget the customer. I have to waive down a host just to get a refill. I love Norms restaurants and have never experienced this kinda of service from any of them until today and I eat at this location more often because its closer to home maybe Ill just make Pomona or Whittier my new home restaurant.

Ive been here twice for breakfast. The first was excellent. Service was fast and the waitress was excellent. Second time was the same except but they over charged me. I order the 2+2+2+2 special 6.59 that come with 2 eggs 2 bacon 2 sausage 2 pancakes for my husband and I. The special is from 4am to 2pm but the Asian waitress charged us the regular price 8.59. I told the cashier the price is wrong I was over charge. So the lady came and took off 3 dollars. Not realizing i Paid And and glanced over at the receipt and told her it was still wrong. Then the asian lady gave me an attitude saying " since you paid i have to write out another check." she still didnt do it correctly! So I left it as that! All i know is before you leave the table make sure you check your receipt because theyll purposely over charge you to make a quick extra buck.

Horrible customer service. I wasnt attended until about 8 minutes after sitting down. Waitresses would pass by me, make no eye contact or acknowledge me. They took my order wrong and I caught that right away and told them to please fix it. They also forgot to put in my friends order until they were bagging my order. We waited there for an extra 15 minutes. It was a "to go". When I got home, order was still wrong and I was charged for my extras and didnt receive them. My steak was cold and not cooked properly. I called to complain about it and all they offered was for me to go back. It was 4 am and I was tired from work. I asked them to refund at least the extras I didnt receive and I was told that they dont do refunds. What kind of customer service is that? There was like 8 people there, no reason for them to make that many mistakes

we had dinner at norms on 7/28/14 we ordered our food and it took them almost 45 min to bring us our food. the waitress kept saying it was busy they were SO BUSY,but theyre were about 10 tables with customers and 4 of them were only 1 person .anyway the food was lousy on top of the cook getting the order wrong so food sent back to get fixed ....wait some more then my daughter had ordered the BBQ ribs and theres a side of coleslaw that is rancid it smelled bad .i asked to speak to the manager ,and they send the waitress...it seems everyone was just hanging out at kitchen not doing anything really ...food was cold and stale ,coffee was cold ,rancid food ...this is why id rather drive all the way to L.A. for good service and food NORMS in west covina is horrible...why is it that this place is always out of something thats advertised

1. We went in for breakfast because we saw the ad on paper 2-2-2-2(sausage, pancake, eggs, bacon) for $5.99. Ad good until Sept 22, 2014. We went there on Sept 13, the waitress said manager pulled the specials yesterday. Now we had to pay $7.99. 2. It was 7:30am, the janitor started sweeping and cleaning the floor. Why not do it earlier like 6 or 5am when fewer customers are around? 3. Coffee is extremely weak. Not worth $2.29. Coffee cup is very small. 4. Waitress running to get orders, we felt very tense and stressful. Very poor dining experience.

Horrible service, understaffed. My husband made a complaint to the girl at the register , and she acted like she didnt care, was very rude, she told him to call the manager in the morning... after I was seated and while waiting for my waiter (for well over 10 min.) There was another customer complaining about her experience. If I could I wouldnt give any stars I do not recommend this norms location it wasnt the fist time I had horrific customer service, but it is the last

Lipstick on cup! Bad service. When I brought it up to the manager he was real arrogant about it. This was the first time I had been here since my last bad experience in a while. The last time I was here at this same place I found a hair in my food. It just a nasty place. Come at your own risk. Luckily this time I caught it before I put my mouth to it. I was here with my wife and we just left do to the managers arroganceand just nastiness of the place.

We were seated for 20 minutes, no one came to our table to ask for drinks or even hand our menu. By the time we flagged someone down it took another 5- 10 minutes for someone to come to our table and give us the menus. By 35 minutes we were walking out. Not to mention the wait, which was another 30 minutes. The worst service ever, we definitely felt discriminated against and will not be returning. The manager smiled at us as we were leaving
