Just a great neighborhood place for terrific food. Its everything you want as your favorite family restaurant. Its family run and the ladies up front, Rose and Sooji, are sweet and go out of their way to make sure everything is just right. Their pan-fried udon, tonkatsu, and golden chicken wings are great; their salmon bento may be the best Ive had. Id put their sashimi against any others in the immediate area; and Ive done the omakase at every top-notch Japanese restaurant in the Bay Area. Maybe they dont have a huge selection of sushi/sashimi, but what they do, they do very well. Sure, its not a top-notch omakase experience, but youd have to drive a long distance, wait, and pay an exorbitant price for that. To take care of a sushi craving and Japanese comfort food in your back yard? Awesome.
