I grew up in the San Fernando Valley where my wife and I love...LOVE... going to a Lebanese spot on Ventura Blvd called Cafe du Liban. My wife is absolutely infatuated with the Fattoush Salad. I have been looking for our Bay Area equivalent. I believe we have found it in Shish Grill. This is now my second time eating here in as many days. I ate here for lunch yesterday and asked the missus if she wanted Shish Grill for dinner that night. This place is a small spot, and theres generally a line out the door during lunch time on weekdays. Its a bit less busy for dinner, but I noticed a stream of customers who ordered through the Eat24 app walking through the doors for pickup. I was a very big fan of the Baba Ganouj and the Shewarmas. The Shewarmas were piping hot as they came right off the grill. I get the feeling I would enjoy pretty much anything they dish out, and I plan on testing that hypothesis.

There were multiple things here that we really enjoyed thoroughly. The hummus was probably the best hummus we have ever tried. Certainly the best we can remember. The lentil soup was very flavorful and creamy. Then I had the chicken shewarma sandwich and my lady had the beef one. They were both very flavorful and satisfying. To finish we shared a baklava and it was good but I have more of a sweet tooth and it wasnt drenched in honey as much as I would have liked. My lady is the opposite though and she preferred it how it was. We definitely look forward to coming back here.

I had an opportunity to eat at the Shish Grill in San Ramon. Their Hummus, bar none, was the best I have ever had! Really nice creamy texture, not too much garlic with olive oil and fresh herbs. I also had the Chicken Shewarma sandwich. Chicken marinated in very unusual, but very tasty spices with grilled vegetables and a sauce that was very flavorful, without being over spiced. I highly recommend this restaurant for either lunch or dinner. I will definitely be back soon! Yummy!

Lebanese and Greek restaurant. Best Lebanese food I have had. Hummus, Baba ghanough, and the shish Tawook were the best I have had in years. Back Ava was freshly made and absolutely the best. Service was excellent. Did I mention their Lebanese coffee.. it was great at the end.

Love this place, everything is just tastey and fresh. Ive tried almost all their dishes, i love all of them, i recommend kebbeh, combination kebab plate, flafel and lavash chicken/lamb wrap. Friendly staff.

Ive been to many Mediterranean restaurants and Shish is my favorite. The good is incredibly flavorful and the service is fast. They make a garlic sauce that is outrageous, wish we could buy it in jars.

Excellent food and great catering Menue. Hummus is so creamy and very tasty. My favorite is their Combo plate. Did I mention that Shish was voted best of the bay in Mediterranean food by east bay times!

About time San Ramon got a good Mediterranean food. Excellent hummus, kabobs, falafel and the fatouch salad were fantastic. The soup was excellent never had anything like that before.

Great tasting food and since Im Gluten Free they made a nice substitution on a dish that normally comes with pita. Loved the beef shish and the garlic sauce.

Best Lebanese Food in California! Try the Lamb Kabob plate with hummus as an appetizer. Fantastic food !
