Eclectic atmosphere heavily laden in beer themed items which I totally respect!! Sandwiches were good and they did have a number of different options to choose from. A surprisingly large selection of beer too but my understanding is that you cant order it without food so its not exactly a bar type place to stop off at. Really nice staff who knows a thing or two about brews as well. All in all a great little sandwich joint that doubles as a beer hall!

I was never treated with that kind of rude attitude in my life !! The guy taking the order was not helpful, or even smiling. I dont want to go as far as calling him a racist, but it sure looked that way to me and my companion. and BTW, theres nothing special about the sandwiches !! they have a good selection of beers though.

Sam was never a racist. He hated everybody equally! Come on your people it was all a schtick. Really a nice guy at heart. He was just being rude for the fun of it, all an act. He was winding you all up for laughs. You really think Marlene would marry him if he wasnt? Now, go have a beer.

One of the first places to sell imported/craft beers in LA. Period. The food is homemade and isnt quite at the level of the gastropubs that have copied their business model since. But their beer selection and monthly special offerings still leave most places in the dust.

Lots of beer and sandwich options here. The lady who took my order was friendly and helpful. She recommended the submarine sandwich which was good but not great. Not a fan of the breed. Too soft in my opinion. Will need to try their pasta and other sandwiches.

This is a family style place. Awsome beer selections! Especially for rare, hard to find beers. This is THE place for beer lovers, and I dont mean Budweiser, Coors, and Miller that type of beer. I mean craft beer! My flavor place to go for good beer.

I live in Sheridan Wyoming now and the only thing I wish I could come back to California for is a stuffed sandwich and good beer and of course Sam and his beautiful wife went there for years living in California he is the best!

Craft beer paradise. The owner is the best, and from time to time she will unburied things that you cant believe still exist. very hard to find stuff. When you order food, order the pastrami its always amazing!

Hands down they have the largest selection of imported and domestic beers/ipas within a 20 mile radius. Highly recommended . not recommended if you looking for late night drinks because they close early

This is a great place for the oversized sandwich. I had the spaghetti and meatball half stuffed sandwich. Where else can you get spaghetti on a sandwich?!?! Their beer selection is quite impressive too.
