Ive been here for both a la carte and lunch buffet. Quality is definitely here when you do a la carte as they pay more attention to you but the lunch buffet isnt too shabby. $10 for lunch buffet. AYCE- who would be against that? I was more worried about my self control! When I went to the lunch buffet, there were two fried items (onions, chicken), tandoori chicken, salad, saag paneer, aloo gobi, spicy yellow cabbage, chicken curry, potato pea curry, lamb curry, huge amounts of nann and Kheer (indian rice pudding made with coconut milk, raisins and nuts). I really like their nann, theyve mastered the fine balance between the crunch and dough. Make sure to grab them while they are hot! A la carte- we ordered a potato and pea curry, crushed paneer dish, chicken curry and another paneer (cubed) curry along with nann. Service is attentive but beware of their white napkins, they give you white lint on your dress pants! Several of my coworkers made this mistake :X. Enjoy!

Came to watch the Giants game and sat chose to sit at the Bar. The food was great. The Lamb Chops were well seasoned and cooked in the tandoor perfectly. A side of Chicken Jalfrazie and rice was just perfect. I am definitely coming here again. I have a lot of friends who come here and we came out to dinner here one night. I was surprised at how diverse the food was. The menu is HUGE, and there is something for everybody. When we got our food the amount of flavor on the table is absurd. It was beautiful. I love the décor of the place, how homey it is and they even have a TV for people wanting to keep an eye out for their favorite teams. I love this place! When you can’t sleep and the only food you really want to eat is North India at 4 am, you know you’re hooked! I just can’t get enough. Going first thing in the morning!

Very disapponited with the service and quality of the food. We ordered Paneer Jalfrazi and when it came to our table I can see that it was not prepared well. I can see the Paneer, onions and Capsicums were undercooked. Water was coming out of the gravy. And above all taste was really bad, I felt like eating cubes of raw paneers. We told the manager about the food and he said the other customers having the same gravy and they seem to have no issue with it so why are you complaining?? I have been in SF for last 7 days and tried 7-8 different reataurants and loved every single one except this one. If you are in SF and craving for an Indian curries, please avoid this restaturant for your own sake :)

Location 5/5. Nice view from from the restaurant. Little difficult to find the parking. There are some public parking lots near to the restaurant. Food is 4.5/5. Food is pretty good we ordered paneer burji, murg makhani, dal makhani, chana masala. Panner burji was the best. In appetizers we ordered panner pakoda, vegetable pakoda and meat platter both the pakodas were really good in meat chicken was good but pork wasnt good at all. In drinks we ordered tea and lassi. Sugar was little less in both of them(for Indians). Service is 3/5. Plates were little dirty. I ordered for clean plate so the waiter told me they all are same and then he came with another plate which was also little dirty.

Came here for dinner a couple weeks ago, and everything was amazing! I wanted to watch the Giants game, and they quickly turned the game on, in their little bar area. The food was amazing, i came with my friend and he loved it also. We ordered the Tandoori Chicken, Bombay Chicken, Saag Paneer, Garlic Naan, and some rice. Everything was flavorful and actually had some spice in it, as opposed to some of the other Indian restaurants Ive been to i the city. Overall, i am definitely going to be coming back here, as there food is superb and the service is very attentive. I think i just found my new favorite Indian restaurant.

One of the worst Indian restaurants in US. The place was dirty, the plates were not clean, even glasses too smelled funny. We went around 11:50 and I asked the guy in the register, if the buffet is ready. Only half of the items were ready and there was empty pots for the other half. After I asked they made few naan and a couple of those naan were finished by the employees having their lunch. After a grand buffet of couple of naan and little rice, they charged $15 for the buffet. The cashier should have been honest the buffet not being ready. A dishonest and dirty place, not recommending for anyone.

North India Restaurant delivers late, which is a huge plus. When you are craving some Indian food its really nice to be able to have it show up at your door around midnight. Unfortunately, the food isnt stellar. The entree was on the greasy side and if the heat in the "hot" dish we got is any indication, beware, its like an inferno; hard to believe it can be ordered hotter. The samosas were tasty, the rice was fine, but the breads, like the entree were greasy (and not what was ordered). Overall, it worked for a late night delivery, but wasnt particularly impressive.

Awesome Aloo paranthas :). I am in SFO for a month and have been trying a new Indian place for dinner everyday, I usually dont like anyones breads as they are thicker than what they should be. But, North Delhi Breads were very nice, loved their aloo parantha (potato bread) and raita. Definitely going back there. The ambience was good and the owner super courteous. I also ordered Paneer parantha (Indian cheese bread) which I didnt like much and the owner actually didnt charge me for it. Very nice customer service and great food.

Came here a bunch of times in the last week because i was in town for convention. Everything was amazing. It got to a point where I was starting to crave their food by the evening. I tried to taste as many things on the menu as i could, and it was worth it. I would recommend this place to anybody looking for good Indian food. I will defiantely come back here when Im in San Francisco next. The service is awesome and they were one of the main reasons why I came back so many times.

Wow! Classy restaurant with friendly and professional staff. I ordered take out and despite being packed they still took the time to talk to me while I waited while servicing over 50+ people. Complimentary wine while I waited too, they sure know how to spoil their patrons. If you want good food, a luxurious ambiance and friendly servers, definitely come here! New fave restaurant in the neighborhood.
