Today I went and checked it out. Once you get in the building you have to walk a whale of a ways to get to the store because it is inside a shopping mall that is mostly vacant. Cant just walk in like at most stores. Dont look for an electric cart - really hard to get one of those. Its large and does have good prices on most items. I compare to Wal-mart and Costco and so I know what the general prices are and WinCo is doing okay with the prices except in the cheese department, pet department, dish soap etc., and the dollar store has them beat on many of the same iyems. Not a very good location neighborhood-wise. Broken asphalt parking and just not a real nice environment to drive around in. Ill pass on going back there again. Too hard to get into - too long a walk inside to get into the store, not low enough or good enough prices to make me want to come back.

This is a decent WinCo. Ive been to a few and they have their own annoyances which completely turns me off to ever going there again. The good: You have plenty of parking were you can park in the front or the back. The checkout lines are plenty and you never have to wait long. Unlike many grocery stores. The store isles are wide. And of course, the prices cannot be beat. I refuse to shop at Walmart, and its not financially reasonable to buy the same groceries elsewhere. The Bad: Id say a quarter of the shoppers block the isles. And I mean everywhere. Also. Some employees seem un interested in helping but Ive worked for winco, so it depends on management . But this store is fairly new, and its not bad in its infancy. 4 out of 5 for the biggest caveat. The prices. I got tons of food for one hundred bucks

This particular store is the most backwards, disorganized, confusing WinCo that I have ever seen. Absolutely NOTHING is where youd think it would/SHOULD be. The bread is at the complete other end of the store, past the frozen foods, from everything else. And just today, I was in need of some canned fruit (pineapple)...guess where I FINALLY found it! In the "COFFEE" isle!!!! The produce department is very small, doesnt have a very good selection AND more than twice Ive had my fresh veggies (broccoli and cauliflower) turn bad within 24 hours of buying them. My suggestion to you is to drive a little farther and shop at the WinCo in Antelope (Walerga & Elverta). Youll be MUCH happier.

It does have about 6 self checkout lanes that close around 10pm. They do not accept credit cards which is rather shocking in this day and age. Cash, debit, check, EBT are accepted. Parking is free and there is handicapped parking in front. Easily visible from street. Prepare for a long walk into the store for the layout is rather odd. 16 check stands exists but after 10pm-12am expect only 1 to be open. The restrooms are located next to customer service which is opposite the entrance (there is a unisex restroom available). They have a private security service on site.

Im a long time customer of Winco Modesto. I love everything about this grocery chain. My first impression of Winco Watt Av. is the shear size of the place. Which brings me to my only complaint. That size alone, makes it difficult for the handicapped. I think that Winco may have to add on to their already sizable fleet of shopping scooters to accommodate all the shoppers who need assistance. That or create concierge service to hook up the customers to the scooters as quickly as possible. (Just think of the positive publicity.)

This is by far the largest WinCo I have seen. Just a ton of groceries and great selection. Some items are very pricey. My multi vitamins were $17.10! REALLY! They are only $8.71 at Walmart. But, we did find some great deals. Service with a smile. The bathrooms are a draw back as well. Per my husband, they werent necessarily dirty, just really old style. Dingy and old. I do recommend this WinCo. But, chances are that we will stick with our neighborhood WinCo.

I love Winco for the selection, prices and the fact that it is employee owned. Its great to have one closer to my home. I dont care for the long walk just to get into the store. I really appreciate a 24 hour store. However, after midnight some isles are blocked for restocking - I guess theres no getting around that. I really wish the deli was open the whole time. It closes at 10. All in all though. its a winner!

Spent 30 minutes shopping in another 10 waiting in line only to find out they do not except credit card. Now normally I have my debit card on me, but things too I didnt he theft I was not able to use it today. So I wasted my time and my effort for nothing and end up walking out with none of the things I wanted to purchase. I will not be coming back here since they do not take credit cards

Basically the greatest grocery store of all time. They have a bulk section with a wide array of dried goods, anything from mung beans to granola to vital wheat gluten. Their packaged food is usually comparable in price to Wal-Mart or target (ie cheaper than typical grocery stores) but their bulk section is usually the cheapest in town. You can get oatmeal for 62 cents a pound :)

Friends car got broken into at this location, so one star less for that. But excellent produce & La Ron B in the deli department was treating his customers with respect and patience. (Especially me since i was super picky and indecisive) Give him a raise for his amazing customer service! :)

The Winco in Elk Grove is 10x better. The customer service sucks. There werent anymore carts outside. Parking sucks. You have to walk like 5mins down the hall to actually enter the store. Its like bumper cars in there; theres no room to move around. Ill give it two stars for being clean.

The products and prices are great as Winco is well known about. Unfortunately some of the cashiers lack the customer service experience and common sense . Twice they closed the line without letting the last person on the line know about it. Just turned off the light sign and left.

Love their prices! Compared prices to advertised sale prices at other stores for a holiday meal and Winco had lower prices on ALL the things on my very long list. So glad they opened the new store at Watt and El Camino -- its much closer to our home.

This store was very clean and well stocked. Prices are lower than a Safewy or a Save Mart. Every employee I had contact with were very helpful. They all made great eye contact and they smiled. There was an eagerness to assist when I needed it.
