I felt that i was looked and treated different. I felt un-welcomed. Its probably because i came in not wearing my best clothes. I have tennis shoes, khaki pants, sweater on. Well when i came in, i did not see anyone, until i seen the hostess talking to maybe some regulars and she went on for atleast a good 5 min. I got tired and i helped my self with a seat, when she saw that i was heading to the nearest booth she then approached me. Yes it was my first time here. When i asked for my ticket the hostess came a bit more warming then when i came in. Sorry for looking like how i came in.

Wow, what a disappointment! Got two of their "signature" dishes. Both had potatoes that were cooked with absolutely no salt or seasoning and tasted like dirt. Couldnt eat them. Since mine was "Marks mess" this meant all I could eat was the English muffin. Hers was the bacon and eggs and the bacon was burned. What a waste of money!!! Beats the heck out of me how this place could get a good review. The little place on Riverside is way better. If you want toy trains go to the Cricket on Auburn blvd and get a truly good breakfast along with better atmosphere.

It was a lazy Summer Sunday morning. After sleeping in until lazy-guilt set it, my gf and I decided to get moving and find some breakfast. We stumbled upon this little morsel of heaven randomly, and credit fate for leading us to it. I had the Chicken Fried Steak, she the Bacon & Eggs breakfast with half a waffle...this waffle RKOD her tastebuds (a good thing). The portions were huge, the food was delicious, and the waiting staff were incredible. And, of course, the train theme was awesome! I definitely recommend this place.

we have been dining here for years, and everything has always been good until today. Our server was one of the worst Ive ever experienced. We sat there more than 10 minutes, as she ignored us, and greeted others who arrived after us. We walked out and found somewhere else to dine. I would have been happy to wait it out and then stiff her on the tip plus give the girl a bad review, but my husband wanted to walk out and make our point that way.

it was just....ok. I dont get what the raves are about. breakfast burrito=eggs in a tortilla. where is the salsa, spice, sour cream, guac..something, anything to liven it up. Eggs Benedict was pretty good, though a little generic. Coffee was blech. If your idea of a breakfast is stereotypical food from a 1932 diner in Ohio, then this place is for you, floral tablecloths covered in 8mil plastic and all....

The look and ambiance of the place is great I love the train circleing the restaurant. The food was also really wonderful and was served shortly after ordering. The coffee was nothing special and the service was not super fast but very friendly. Overall I would recommend this place for an old school restaurant good for families.

Great food and excellent service. Same owners for many years and they really care about their customers. Breakfast and lunch only but either option is well prepared. The walnut pancakes are really wonderful, especially if you steal a piece of your honeys bacon to go with them.

Average breakfast spot. Portions were okay. Despite being busy our food came out pretty quickly. Servers were all nice, it was evident that there are a lot of regulars. Wouldnt be my first breakfast choice, but not a bad choice, either.

Service was just ok. Any time I have to waive down my waitress for something means they arent checking in at our table. Food was a bit cold when I got it.and the portions were not that comparable to other breakfast joints in town.

Run of the mill cafe food. Food wasnt bad but the ambience is a bit like grandmas house with plastic table cloth covers. My clothes smelled like kitchen grease when we left. Service was good and food was served fairly quickly.

I really liked the train motiff esp the whistle you can pull at the entrance! The food was good and staff was very pleasant. The restaurant is not closing soon per manager I spoke with.

Slow service, worse food. Only saving grace was the fact that the hostess saw how bad are service was and gave us a discount. Avoid this place!!! Unless you have no other choice

Clean and fast, friendly and courteous. Love the model railroad set up. Its the best railroad set Ive found. They also have a bellows that sounds like a train horn.

The local and homemade sausages are to die for. Great and cheap place to eat breakfast or brunch. Picturesque, family friendly, and great staff and servers.

Great views of the trains. Classic American style breakfast. Service is a little slow sometimes. Good for kids. Pull the train horn on the way out!
