Use to love this store, but I have noticed over the past couple of years the service going down and prices going up. Today my wife and I made a special trip to buy a pizza (pizzas are good, almost as good as Whole Foods) but to our surprise they have only two staff that can make pizzas and they were both on lunch break, this was 3pm Sunday afternoon. We were told that they would be back from break in around 25 minutes or so. When I asked to speak with a manager a lady standing next to the clerk stated she was and said a worker had come in late and we would have to wait. Couldnt the manager have made the pizza? I went to the front and asked to speak to a general manager who was pointed out by one of the cashiers. I stated the issue and all she could say was "I am sorry". What??? I remember when they first opened that staff and managers made some attempt to provide customer service. I was expecting a response like, we will get someone to take and start your order or bring one of the workers back off break. I guess both workers needed their breaks at the same time. I know it probably seems silly to be fussing over a pizza, but it is not the pizza, it is an apparent lack of providing service and/or managing it. There are too many other stores in the area so this is good bye for me and my family with Nugget Markets.

NUGGET ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!My husband and I shop at the Nugget market almost every other day if not every day. The staff has become like family to us and we look forward to seeing their friendly faces and warm conversations in addition to incredible quality food. Whether it be "Shelly from the deli" who has extensive cheese knowledge in the cheese bar, to Larry who knows everything you need to know about wine and food, to Kathleen in the deli who is just a love to be around, to Christian who is all over the place with an awesome spirit about him, to Kyle in the checkout stand who even comes over to gives warm greeting hugs, and everyone else on staff not mentioned. One last shot out to the coffee bar staff! Nugget has an incredible coffee bar staff who make killer coffee drinks!! If I havent made it clear about the quality of product and amazing Nugget family which is an added bonus to shopping experience, I will say it again, WE LOVE THE NUGGET!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nothing more to say! :-)

So, the Nugget has a Cheesemonger, what else needs to be said? In how many stores can you say, "Darling, go ask the Cheesemonger for a sample of double cream Gouda."? That experience alone is worth the visit. As well, our checker was a "Top Gun" who gave us a free cloth bag to keep our specialty root beers safe until we got to the party. To top the visit off, Carolyn from Carolyns Cookies was there giving away free samples of her cookies. So, I bought a bag and brought them with. Once we cooked the amazing cookies, I went from social outcast to super cool. Thanks Carolyn and thanks Nugget!

Beautiful/clean/gourmet market, yet still offers many of the normal stock found in other stores. I especially love that the bakery does not use peanuts at all (note that they do use other tree nuts). My wife is severely allergic to peanuts so its very nice to know that she can eat anything from the bakery. Great selection of all the gourmet foods/drinks you normally see at gourmet grocery stores, though I had expected to see a better selection of fresh wild fish (may have just been the time of my visit).

This is a great market setup where it feels like a farmers market right outside the entrance, but when you enter youll be overwhelmed with a quality produce section, bakery, and hot foods area. I often go to the bakery here as they sell the famous Ettores cakes and pastries. Their prices are a little high, but understandable as they provide a pleasant grocery shopping experience and courteous staff to go along with it.

Love this store! I go here pretty regularly for lunch and theres always a very diverse selection of healthy, ready-made food. The salad bar is awesome, staff is super friendly, and even though it gets really busy during the lunch hour, the lines are short (because theyre well staffed) and move quickly. Is it a little pricier than a standard grocery store? A little. Is it worth it? Absolutely!

I havent been to Nugget market on awhile since raleys and safeway are closer but I do like it. Its a really nice store with alot of good quality groceries. Some you cant find everywhere. The only things I dont like about nugget market are that their prices are a bit expensive and they dont have everything I get when I shop. I do love the big deli and meat/seafood counters though =)

Gorgeous, clean grocery store with lots of specialty food items. The only down side is they tend to be very expensive, even with sales I can often get the same items cheaper at Sprouts. I come here though for several foods I cant find elsewhere. They also have an awesome selection of wine and craft beer and their bakery is phenomenal. I suppose you get what you pay for.

Great service. Very fast at checkout and at helping customers throughout the store. Clean environment and produce is presented nicely. This store get great quality produce that both looks and taste fresh! The prices are a little higher than most grocery stores. However, they do have a large variety of items available! Especially in the cheese section!

Excellent selection of hard to find items (reflected in their higher than average prices), good deli and coffee, very friendly & staff. Only place in the area that Ive found things like dry ice and fresh quail eggs. Not really a place for a full shopping trips though due to higher prices but, its a great place to pick up out of the ordinary treats.

Hands down the best grocery store. Im from the Bay Area where yummy specialty grocery stores are everywhere, but the Nugget takes the cake. Their food is delicious, there is never a line to check out, and everything is always clean. They also label everything so finding organic, local, or gluten free options is so easy.

The nugget is a fun place to shop. They are pricy but if your looking for specialty items, they are the place to go. We would go there when we look for special baking such as organize powdered sugar or when we want a special dessert. They have a great bakery and prepared foods.

Great selection. Fresh produce. Anything made in house is fantastic. The real gem here is the customer service. They go above and beyond in every way. I have converted from being an exclusive Whole Foods customer to an exclusive Nugget customer.

Place is legit. The fish is always fresh and of the highest quality. The Americano coffee is amazing, ashai bowl my wife loves, beer selection is great, salad bar is perfect and oh by the way, the employees actually like working there.

Nugget has a fantastic selection of quality produce (including tons of organic choices), a great meat counter, and fantastic bakery and deli. Theyre particularly well known for their beer, wine, and cheese selections.
