I live above Auburn but drove down to Roseville to pick up Thanksgiving dinner for my wife and all the family that was coming to our home for the holiday. (My wife just had her knee replaced a few weeks before, so it seemed like a better way to go, instead of doing all the cooking). I looked at the photos of the holiday meals and chose the one with sliced ham and sliced turkey breast (cost 114.99). I added additionally one order of sliced turkey breast for an additional 39.99. I figured that would be enough for the whole family, with different guests also bringing special dishes along. I emphasized what I was ordering at the time of ordering and even mentioned the "beautiful food" in the photo on their web site. I still remember how nice and delicious the 12 rolls looked. I still wish I had gotten what is in the photo that I mentioned.............NOT! When I showed up at 9 AM to pick up my "beautiful" meal of sliced ham and sliced turkey, I ran into a fairly rude your lady-employee out in the parking lot who seemed to be the boss. She had someone give me the large box of food and I asked to check it there before I took it and drove away. She had to get someone to get the extra turkey (because it wasnt there). I stated that I had ordered the "sliced" turkey & ham in the photo with the delicious-looking rolls......not the two chunks of turkey and the big chunk of ham and the bag of dried-looking rolls, and she said, "that is the catered food you get when you order it catered".........this is what you get when you order the "pick up". I told her that I had emphasized, at the time of ordering, what I was looking at and what I was expecting to pick up Thanksgiving morning. Once more, she rudely told me that was what I would get if I ordered it catered, but what was in front of me was what I was getting that morning. I told her that I had no choice at the time and would take it as a lesson-learned. She could have cared less, and went on to the next person "waiting in the parking lot" for their box of food. It was a lesson learned. I will NEVER order something from this Boston Market ever again. I am very sure that the young lady-employee could care less. I will call back to talk with Ashley (the lady I originally ordered from) today about this, but I doubt that it will matter. I half-joked with my daughter that next year I will go down to Wallmart and buy a couple of packages of micro-wave mashed potatoes, a bag of rolls, a piece of cold ham and piece of cold turkey, a boxed apple pie and a boxed pumpkin pie and then we will have the same meal for a small fraction of the price (with a much better attitude by the employee and a much better atmosphere in which to pick up my food). I am generally not the type of person to write a review on a computer, but I want to make sure others are aware of my experience. I am sure other folks experience the same thing yesterday morning and just dont want to waste the time writing it on this review-site. I tried to attach a photo that I had saved of the food that I thought I was picking up (I had saved the photo and had it in front of me when I was ordering it from Ashley), but I cant figure out how to add the photo. I also tried adding this review and photo to YELP.........not sure if it worked.

BUYER BEWARE!!! The food has definitely dropped in quality and size as the chicken has gone to super tiny size and the portions have gotten smaller and smaller for sides as well! My chicken was 2 "x 1" drumstick and my thigh 1" x 1" WOW! I never seen chicken that small before! The management could care less and told me this is what they get from corporate theres nothing they can do as in nothing will change if I ask them to replace! The steamed vegetables was extremely soggy! The mac and cheese noodles was hard and undercooked and the cheese sauce was watered down! The corn bread was stiff and hard and to top it off cold! The drive thru girl could care less horrible attitude rolls her eyes a lot! These Boston Markets have been dropping stores like crazy and theres no wonder why as the company has lowered their standards beyond repair in my view! Just Sad!!

Worst Boston market Ive been to. If you request for any sides to be done fresh batch coz the one is dry. They make you wait about 10 minutes and give you the old batch cold. This location consistently has over cooked chicken. If you are reading this go to the Fair oaks location or even the pre made lunches at grocery store. Thats how bad the food is here.

I really enjoy eating here on a regular basis. The chicken is always falling off the bone and the sides are amazing; my favorite is the Mac n cheese as well as the sweet potato ! The management will make sure your food is fresh and you the customer is satisfied !

We had to clean off a table to sit down. Soda machine was out of ice, had to ask twice before they refilled it. By the time we got everything ready to eat, the food was barely warm. I have to say the food tasted good. I might return but not during dinner times.

Staff is friendly and helpful. It is always cold in the restaurant, which in turn seems to cool your food down very quickly. Bring a jacket, and eat quickly. We actually prefer to get food to go because of the temperatures.

Not sure why the Boston Market eateries are dwindling. Whenever we are near one we go there at least once a month. Its great down home food thats filling and fresh. Hopefully they recover cause there is not one anywhere near us.

The food is okay, but whats worse is the staff. They are incredibly rude; from eye rolling at sincere questions, poor service, and horrible attitudes at the check out. This has been consultant across 4 trips.

Top notch customer service. Very personable people. Great comfort food, I love the turkey and meat loaf but I am always tempted to just order 5 sides and call it a meal. Love the sides.

Omg, so glad to have a Boston Market again. These are not in all large cities and they as so yummy. A bit pricy, but will worth it. I ordered the 3 side plates and it was delicious.

Better than most fast food places. Like most restaurants, the quality is inconsistent .. room temperature food, dried out meat and stale bread. The employees are always great.

I eat here a few times a month. The food is consistent and yummy. The crew could be taught a little more about customer service, but its still wonderful food with a drive thru.
