Stopped into Rose City Pizza on a Saturday for lunch. There is a plethora of food options in the same shopping center and it definitely stands out. You step into Rose City Pizza and are greeted with a very pleasant environment, bright, clean, and inviting. It very much reminded me of a Zpizza (except Rose City also caters to the beer aficionado), they seem to have a similar approach, fresh ingredients and quality that far surpasses a typical chain pizza place. I ordered one of their lunch combos, a stromboli (deluxe), side salad, and a drink for a modest $9. Waited for about five minutes while they warmed up the stromboli, filled with cheese, pepperoni, bell peppers, sausage, & onion, served with a side of marinara. It was excellent, nice crispy exterior, tender interior, and everything seasoned perfectly. The combo definitely requires a healthy appetite, both the stromboli and salad are generous portions, so together require going down a couple belt loops by the time your done with your meal. I certainly see myself dropping into Rose City again. RS

What We Ordered - Half Elote and Half Buffalo Chicken with Hot Cheetos Pizza - Pizza Tots Looks are deceiving. We saw The Insider video of the infamous Elote pizza and were dying to try it. The video showed a super cheesy, gooey goodness but, what we received left us underwhelmed. It was not cheesy at all and lacked flavor. Since they use thin crust, it seemed like the skimped on the toppings that were already easily falling off. I would rather eat a real elote from the shopping carts. The Buffalo Chicken with Hot Cheetos was extremely spicy!! And I love spicy !! It was burning the whole time. It had more flavor than the elote but, wouldnt get either again. Its just for looks. The Pizza Tots were super good! Crunchy tots with cheese, marinara and pepperoni. Not sure if I would come back just for tots. Ive ordered pizza here before and have no fond memory of it either. :(

Friday Afternoon and I was told they didnt have bread for their specialty grilled cheese sandwiches... not prepared for the weekend? Suggested to me that I get Rose City Burger... Ok, The bun was stale And the burger meat crumbled when I picked it up to take a bite. Overall a flavorless sub par burger. I Also ordered the buffalo chicken tots which would have been delicious if 80% of them werent soggy. Had high hopes for this place even drove from DT LA to eat here and I give it 5/5 stars on the scale of being completely let down and wasting my time, energy, and money.

I love this place! A pizza place that serves beer and also has art on display? This makes for a good time! They have a TV as well, so you can chill and watch sports. The art changes from time to time, depending on their theme. When I was there, it was lego themed. I believe the art is for sale, since the price tag is listed on there. Now down to the food. They have some pre-made slices that you can choose from, or you can customize it and have them make it there. I will definitely come back again just to check out the art alone!

Nothing here is exactly healthy, but its pretty tasty. Funny enough, my favorite meals from there are their burgers. They have a $5 deal which is a slice and a beer. Its a great place to grab a quick bite after work or relax. Rose City is located in the big Rosemead Plaza where Target is. I come here whenever I feel like a cheat meal.

OKAY I LOVE PIZZA AND PERSONALY I WAS GETTING SICK OF PIZZA WELL MY BOYFRIEND SAW THIS PLACE AND WE WENT IN AND TRIED IT. I WAS AMAZED SO IMPRESSED AND IN LOVE WITH THE FOOD AND THE PEOPLE I TIPED $5 TO THE COOK!!! THE VEGGIES ARE SO FRESH AND DELIGHTFUL. THE WINGS WERE ACTUALLY MEAT AND THE SAUCE NOT BREAD AND ALL BONE. IM IN LOVE.

I swear pictures of their pizza tots and had to try them. It is a huge portion (I suggest sharing with someone). I looked really tasty, but I was so disappointed it was bland! I had to pour sriracha all over it just to give it some flavor. My fiance had the pastrami sandwich that was delicious.

I drive about 45-1hr to get here... Pizza Is great, chilli pasta is "life changing" (its that good ). The rose city burger is one of a kind. Now I just noticed they have a pastrami grilled cheese sandwich... Mind blowing! If your hungry and looking for "great food" this is where u want to be!

Pro: good Pizza "Pizza tater fries" where great the street elote pizza was awesome too... Con: bit expensive.. for the size of the pizzas and the place is a bit small then after it went viral on fb and Instagram it get crowded pretty quick so be ready to wait in line for a while

Great people who work there. I really have to say the staff is super friendly and fun. The art work in the place is amazing, dont know why its not full all the time. Amazing deals and i always order a full large pizza, even for two people. (trust me, it will be eaten all)

The only place I know that makes elote pizza AND you can put hot Cheetos on top of it. I just got it just to try it but it was actually Amazing! I will definitely come back with my family and friends and try the wide selection of beer as well as the amazing looking tots.

Best pizza I have eaten in a long time! Worth every dollar! I got half al pastor and the other half was elote... Best choice of pizza I could have made. The pizza was loaded with flavor and was worth the drive. The service was prompt and helpful!

Honestly the pictures looked delicious but my pizza fries were burnt at the bottom and the screwed up my order by only giving me three its a good idea but they honestly need a lot of work dont believe the hype this place isnt worth going far

Roseeee city! Man this place takes the cake for local pizza! I have to say there is not a single food on this menu that is past exceptional. The beer selection is honestly one of the beat that Ive seen at a pizza place in a long time!

OMG...This has to be some of the best food. I got a City Dog (beef hot dog wrapped in bacon with pastrami, onions, and bell peppers) AWESOME! It was huge had me full halfway through. Not to mention the fresh bread it came on!!

Came here strictly for the elote pizza! Ended up with an elote pizza and half hot cheetoes! It was delicious! Definitely cant wait to go back! Service is awesome! And the people are friendly! What more could you ask for?

Good place for good food. The pizza is tasty and the wings they serve are very meaty. Best of all you always get great service! Only downside of this place is that it can get packed and there isnt always enough seating.
