Ive been to this location of Blaze Pizza several times, and came recently for their Pi Day special. I have to say, the way they handled the crowd was super efficient, and made for a really great experience. The line was out the door, but I was in and out in less than an hour. Blaze is similar to the other DIY pizza stores out there, but the end result differs from other pizzas in that (I think) the pizzas have a more charcoal, oven-baked taste than others. I know friends who prefer Blaze, but I personally like Pieology more. Nonetheless, the quality of ingredients that Blaze offers is still fresh and amazing! The most popular item to order at Blaze Pizza is the DIY pizza where for $8.25, you can customize your pizza with as many ingredients as youd like. Theres also pre-fixed pizzas that you can order - and even salads, but I find the DIY is the best deal. Seriously ... if youre paying a fixed price, why not throw almost everything on there right? Steps are fairly easy. Choose your dough, sauce for the pizza, type of cheese, and then pile on ingredients. You can customize half a pizza to be different from the other half (or so I heard), but I havent done that just yet. I do like the fact that they dont assume what ingredients you want on the pizza. Even with the super huge crowd on Pi Day, the staff went out of their way to make my experience a good one. A few other pros about Blaze that I really like: -they have gorgonzola cheese! -if you dont think the pizza is baked long enough to your liking, you can request them to bake it for a few extra minutes -the blood orange lemonade is pretty darn good tl;dr - Overall, fresh ingredients. Friendly staff. Do double check to make sure the cheese in the cheese shaker is parmesan and not something else. I didnt check once and ended up pouring goat cheese all over my pizza. Ugh, not a fan of goat cheese, so I had inedible pizza that I passed on to somebody else. Blaze is located in a big plaza with a ton of parking. Lots of tables and chairs, so great for dining in or carrying out!

I love that this Blaze opened up here because it is closer to me than the Pasadena one. And the parking situation is so much better here since it is located in a large plaza! And the best thing is that this location used to mail out coupons to local residents when they first opened. Thanks to those coupons I have been here several times and it has been a good experience each time. They have a good amount of seating inside, although I usually take the pizza to-go since I live nearby. Like all Blaze locations, you can customise your pizza with as many toppings as you like. I tend to make my pizzas saucy, which never goes well with the gluten-free crust that I order. The GF crust is really thin, so my pizza falls apart really easily and has to be eaten with a fork/knife. Also, the GF crusts are always burned on the edges, but that happens at other similar pizza companies so I guess thats just a problem everyone has with GF crusts... Also, dont forget to add arugula and pesto sauce at the very end when they are packaging your pizza! I did not know you could do that the first couple of times I came here. The staff here are really great, I have always had great service from them. I was especially appreciative of them the last time I used a BOGO coupon because they discounted my GF crust pizza instead of the regular crust pizza. I forgot what workaround he used to make that happen, but I was very appreciative of that gesture and I will continue to visit this location because of it (and the other reasons I mentioned earlier).

This was quite new to me as I was on a special assignment. I wont go into detail about the assignment but I was curious about the place and came on a very busy Friday - which was my first mistake. My second mistake was my salad; I didnt have enough dressing for it and it was a bit of a pain to ask for extra dressing as all stations were busy and the weekend people came through. My pizza was a mish-mash of everything because I wanted to have that Blaze Pizza experience. It was a very good pizza long with a large drink and salad, keeping me full and I saved a couple slices when I left. I will try to come in next time when its not so busy (perhaps a Monday-Wednesday it isnt so bad) and see what happens. It can be quite noisy on the weekends and I was barraged by loud people while trying to give my order to the prep crew; shouting is not my strong suit.

Blaze Pizza is actually the best build-your-own pizza restaurants. The freshness of their ingredients is unparalleled. The reason for the 4 star review is the level of customer service is not on-par to other similar restaurants. Blaze has great tasting ingredients and dough options. The restaurant has a clean dine-in area and patio. The restrooms were clean as well. Pricing is in line with other restaurants. I definitely like the quality of the food, but this location has to check their employees level of customer service.

Extremely friendly staff that is very accommodating. I was a late arrival here with a minute to close. The staff realized there was no other place I could go to eat in the neighborhood so they went ahead and made me a pizza for free so that I wouldnt go hungry that night in spite of not being able to charge me (the register had auto-closed). The food is also fantastic and there is a reason this chain is taking over the East Coast.

When addressing a customer during an issue dont refer to them as "my man" especially if you are the manager The super thin pizza fad is beaten like dead horse here. The staff seems poorly trained or too immature to be left with little supervision

Im not the biggest fan of build-your-own places like Subway or Chipotle, but I really like these thin crust pizzas. I get white sauce with a dollop of red, mozzarella cheese, lots of garlic cloves, mushrooms, Italian sauces, arugula, and pesto.

Was glad to find out that this place is open till midnight during Friday-Saturday and up to 10pm on other days... unlike the other branch at west Covina that closes early. Line was fast. Everyone pleasant. I also love my creation.

I love blaze pizza. The ingredients are fresh. The only problem I have with this location is the customer service from one of the employes, which I think she is the manger. She isnt very polite and hardly never smiles.

Dont order to go, because they will likely screw up your order in the worst imaginable way possible... Like by putting spicey sauce on your 3 year olds pizza plain pizza after asking 3 times not to. Bummer for us.

Unlike previous visits, the staff were organized and the line cleared at a reasonable pace. The pizza itself was not exceptional. The sauce was just ok, and the toppings and cheeses were not as good as hoped.

Great fast fired pizza with a large variety of toppings! They are very generous here too with the extra toppings. You have to try the blood Orange lemonade, nothing like it around! Delicious!
