DO NOT RECOMMEND!! Very disappointed with the whole experience. This was my first time visiting Pizza e Vino...it was also my last. It took OVER 1 hour and 12 minutes for us to be served 4 simple, off the menu, pizzas. We had reservations, 5:15pm on a Monday, arrived to find three other tables occupied. By the time we got our meal, the original three and 4 other tables all received their meals before we did. The wait staff all had excuses...6 different ones! I asked to speak to the manager and was told that the only manager was the cook. After about 25 minutes a dark haired, leather jacket wearing male walked in...the OWNER!!! This did not make a difference. Even after he was made aware of our situation...it took another 15 minutes to cook the pizzas. The cook/manager, did bring the last pizza over. He told us that the waitress told him about our order and he must not have heard her. I asked why after she brought it to his attention it took over 35 minutes for him to even start our meal. He said he was busy with other orders. What did it for me was that the owner NEVER came over to apologize. Not sure where he learned customer service, oh I know... no where! All it would have taken to save the experience and possibly have your customer give you a second chance was a 2 minute stop by the table. YOU CHOSE TO TOTALLY DISREGARD YOUR CUSTOMERS, SHAME ON YOU!!! Food: Garlic bread was good. Pizzas were not cooked...surprise!! Oh yeah, and after all of that: the bill for $95 came 4 pizzas, 2 salads and garlic bread. My evening SUCKED!!!! Thanks for nothing.

Ive had this place bookmarked forever and finally had the chance to go last night. We were both working late and hungry so we decided to eat first and hang out later. Since its a short walk from his place, I decided to park my car there so that we could enjoy the weather, take in the awesome lake view, and finally eat dinner here. We got a big table to ourselves near the kitchen and two glasses of Chianti to get our evening started and unwind from the day. We took a quick glance at the menu and decided to start with the carpaccio, roasted tomatoes and burrata, and the creole shrimp. The burrata and shrimp were perhaps my favorite - so simple but done perfectly. Burrata is like crack to us and we were fighting over who would take the last piece. The shrimp is a generous serving of 4 perfectly seasoned and spicy shrimp. We split that order and then decided to get a baked pasta dish and the sausage fennel pizza with a crispy bacon topping. Both were amazing and we were beyond stuffed with no room for dessert. We were both buzzed and full from dinner. Good thing we walked so that we could burn it off.

I moved from Italy 5 years ago, Im Italian 100% and I never found a place (Pizzeria) in California (even in other states) where they were able to make a pizza almost close to the one I was use to eat long time ago in my country!!! I live close by this place and tonight I went to check it out! I had the best and delicious pizza ever!!! Its a lovely place and the people there are amazing nice! Again, the pizza was INCREDIBLE!!! W la Pizza Italiana. Thank you Steve for your hospitality, when I walked in I just felt for awhile to be in Italy!!! Hey guys, just expect to pay for the best quality, in this place they use REAL Italian cheese (not real California cheese), they use real tomato sauce from San Marzano, Extra Vergin Olive Oil and Italian flour. And also the pizza is cooked in the wood burning oven. I cant wait to go next time and for me it will be always a good time eat there!!

The pizza here is delicious. It is real ITALIAN pizza, not American fast food pizza like Pizza Hut or Dominoes. Yes this place is great compared to the places in its vicinity, but it is over rated by the people saying it is the best ever. It is not, unless you have traveled around the world and have tasted pizza in more than at least 5 countries, like me, you will understand Pizza here is not the best. It might by very good for locals compared to their fast food pizza, because this place serves real pizza, but Italian "style"It is very good and I am glad I discovered this place so I may come again. But for people who have only tasted Pizza in one area, please dont say this place is the best because frankly you havent tasted that many pizzas to know it. 5 Stars for such a close atmosphere and pizza to pizza from Europe.

Finally, RSM has a delicious restaurant with all the fixins! I checked it out after a friend told me how yummy it is. I had family in town and decided this would be a great place to take them. It was better than I ever imagined. The garlic bread is to die for, the pizza toppings are so fresh and the crust is perfect. I loved it so much I took my husband the following week and keep in mind he is picky about his pizza. He loved it and as soon as we picked up his mom from the airport the following week, we headed straight to PIzza E Vino. Of course she fell in love too. The atmosphere is cozy, the service is great and the food is simply delicious and perfect.

I have been going to Pizza Vino before there was a review in the paper and there was never anyone even there. Everynight there was seating and service all to yourself. After the review its very crowded and you need reservations. I am glad their doing well but I miss the old vibe there. They even changed their menu and its still great but I miss the old menu. Overall the food is great and healthier then a normal pizza place. I would highly recommend this place and try something on the menu you would not normal try because every single thing is great. The chef is one of the best. The employees are not the best but their food makes up for it.

Great food. Terrible beer prices. Had dinner here on a Sunday night with my girlfriend. Our waiter was very helpful in recommendations for both food and drink. I ordered one of their brick oven pizzas with sausage and my girlfriend ordered one of the entree salads with chicken. Both meals were great both in general quality and for the price. Unfortunately the beer (though great in quality) cost $15.00 which is unacceptable for a readily available bottled beer. There was no pricing on their beer menu board or anywhere on the hand out menus. If I had known my beer costs as much as my meal I would have skipped out.

Yeah - its great pizza, but its expensive. Its the only place locally thats allowed to call their product "authentic Neapolitan pizza", which I think means some Italian muckety-muck came out to confirm that they only use Italian tomatoes, flour and buffalo mozzarella cheese on their pizza margherita and that they really use a wood-fired oven and cook it for only like 3 minutes or something. If youve never had real pizza margherita, you probably ought to give it a shot - once. Ive only been there once, I see no need to go back. Its not the only great pizza in town, its just the most expensive.
