The short version: The food here is INCREDIBLE! The long, Yelp-y version: I asked wifey to find us a place for our anniversary dinner last week and this place did not disappoint! We walked in and were seated right away... the place seemed a bit tight inside but Im sure part of it was because they closed off the outside seating due to the rainy day. Nik was our server... and while he was nice,he seemed to be a little too busy at times to get back to us.I cant remember the exact name of it, but I ordered the chicken/ entree... it was seriously packed with SO much flavor, it was insane! Definitely made the 20-ish minute wait for it worth it. My fiancé ordered her own pasta entree that she really enjoyed also. Pricing I think is on par with most other Italian joints in the area... about $15 a plate. The only two things we had against it is that my fiancé said the water tasted like old water and had to order a lemonade instead... and for me, were definitely gonna try and come back

I am very disappointed that the “new owners” of this very well established Italian restaurant have decided to cut the quality, raise the prices and cut back on the portions. This was the best Italian restaurant in the area as well as great pizza and fresh bagels. The once great and wonderful lasagna that I have enjoyed for many years has provoke me to write this review. The 9” round “to go” container has now a 4 1/2” square piece of loosely made lasagna with a sauce that is not of the same quality as before, besides the $2.00 increase. I honestly waited to write this review to be fair, and for the last four times I wanted lasagna. The pizza is more expensive and still good for now ... But ... the bagels have only a history. Greed has claimed this establishment. May God Bless the “original owners” and for the memories of their very fine Italian cuisine, for I surely miss them.

I ran across this place online and thought Id bring my New York born and raised boyfriend to this place in hopes hed feel back at home with all of the authenticity I was reading about this place and the owners. Tucked away in a shopping center, we entered this small place and was greeted friendly and escorted to a table. Since the moment we sat down, he loved it, I loved it! The bread was yummy and our food super delicious!!! That night I raved on Facebook about NYPD and encouraged anyone in the area to go. Its not too close to where I live but it is worth the drive and I am devoted to their baked ziti! My boyfriend had the lasagna and ate every drop of it and they give huge portions. Try this place out and give a review, I cant imagine you wont be impressed!!

They have a large menu including a variety of lunch specials. Most of us ordered the lunch panini and salad, the soup and salad, or pasta and salad. I ordered the latter, the penne in marinara with a Cesar It was delicious. The sauce was very flavorful, and their portions were generous. If I returned, I would be tempted to try either the salumi or chicken panini as they both looked delicious. The pear salad also looked amazing. You wouldnt think you would find this little Italian gem between a Stater Bros and a Chase Bank. It is truly a hidden treasure! I ate lunch here today for a bachelorette party and was impressed by their service and their food.

This place has spoiled me for pizza. I come in all of the time for slices. Sometimes I dont make the 4 oclock cut off but if youre hungry enough the small size pizzas will fill you up just fine. I just hate pizza from other places now. The pasta is a whole other story. Im kind of weird I guess cause Im the only one who seems to love the pesto. The fettuccine ala nypd is my all time favorite. Never anything wrong with the lasagna or a baked ziti. Also this place is an Italian restaurant/pizzeria and it has the best buffalo wings ever! How even is that possible? NYPD all day everyday!

The main dishes are fantastic here. I really enjoyed the seafood and the fresh fish. Impressed by the special, a white bass served on a bed of spinach with a reduction that was well balanced and served elegantly. For the Decor it was quite a surprise. I would have expected to pay about $7 more for it at most restaurants. Kids love the pizza and the Spaghetti Von Gole.(sp)..the Antipasto was very generous too. I enjoyed the selection of draft beers and the two for one happy hour. Definitely going back for more.

My boyfriend and I absolutely love this place. Im originally from the east coast, so coming here is like a little slice of home. The staff is very friendly and they love talking to our one year old daughter. The pizza is so good! I recommend trying meatball and pepperoni, the combination is delicious. I havent had a chance to try their stromboli, but, omg do they look good! If you love new york style pizza, this place is for you, and you wont be disappointed

i am very disappointed with the service and meal i was served. i ordered a pastrami sandwich with fries to go and the fries were under cooked and cold and the sandwich bread was wet and tasteless im pissed. the woman also was very odd approaching me as i waited commenting on my tattoos making me uncomfortable. i should have just got something from Subway like i planned but i figured i should try a new place. regret.

My boyfriend and I came to eat dinner while he was visiting me from San Diego. It was delicious as always. My boyfriend was very impressed by the food also. Being that he is from San Diego he wasnt too sure about my choice of restaurant. Overall the customer service was excellent and the food was delicious! He says that it is the only place that he will eat in corona area

As a corona (South Corona) local, one would agree that good food is HARD to come by. We are so limited out there because we are in a "developing" area. Well, NYPD Pizza is THE BEST pizza and food. My husband and I are foodies, and very picky. Their crust is thin and the toppings are excellent. By far would recommend them over any other pizza spot out there.

- I had two bad experiences with their pizza. 1st. The pizza i ate was a med pep, it was so greasy and smelled pretty gross but tasted like whatever. 2nd. I had porbably the worst pizza u can eat there, which was the "Sicilian Pizza". the cheese smelled like someone died in it. and i literally got sick from it. PLEASE EAT IT AND TRY FOR UR SELF...THANKS!

This restaurant made me not miss New Jersey and New York so much. Food is so authentic and good. The owners used to own a pizzeria in New York and decided to open a restaurant once they moved to California. Thank goodness they did. They are letting Californians know what true New York/New Jersey Italian food is all about.
