Admirable concept, poorly executed at least at the pilot location in Pleasanton. I have been here about 5 times during dinner hours just to give it a fair shake because I really want it to succeed. Location is hidden and foot traffic is always very light. Counter is cluttered and confusing. People disappearing and reappearing from back area seems awkward, too. The dining area feels like a food court. Its open, sterile, and echoey. Not cozy like it should be. Food is a bit pricey, but acceptable range $9 for sandwich/wrap. In the end, however, this is my biggest problem. The chicken is invariably dry and overcooked, and the bun too thick. Sauce:bread:chicken ratio needs refinement. The slaw topping is great, however.

Great place for an alternative to Chik-fil-A or fried artificial flavored chicken! And also First off its a Chicken Place hence the name. Secondly theyre slogan is like "the first American usda organic certified fast food" in case theres any confusion ;) I saw a previous review so I had to set it straight! Great chicken and thats basically all they serve much like Chik-fil-a and they had an amazing soda machine with organic soda it is a must try!!! Unfortunately it was down the last time I went

We were excited to try this "fast food" restaurant. It was simply decorated and the menu was small and simple. I ordered the chicken sandwich with the asian ginger sauce. I was a disappointed to find my chicken dry. The sauce was the only thing providing flavor as the chicken was bland. The same was true for the wrap and the strips which both my sons ordered. Was hoping for moist, flavorful chicken but disappointed. I probably wont make return visit.

If i could give this place more than 5 stars i would! WARNING: this IS NOT a typical fast food restaurant. It does one thing (organic deep fried chicken) and does it phenomenally! But if you want fries, chips, salads, desserts (other than their specialty popcorn) either bring your own or dont come here! However, their chicken, slaw, and sauces are outstanding! Pricey but worth every penny! YUM!

If you are looking for yummy organic chicken sandwiches at an affordable price then you have come to the right place! During lunch hours it can get a little busy but the chicken is worth the wait. I do wish that the seating were laid out a bit differently so that the meal can be more personal. I recommend their signature chicken sandwich, a side of tots, and a cup of their fresh organic lemonade!

Place is hidden out of view when driving by, but its inside a strip mall. Workers are nice extremely talkative. Feels more of a fast-food even though the word ORGANIC is listed. No problems for me here menu had only one type of meat (chicken). Food and service is fantastic although fried food is calorie laden my sandwich was really tasty. For dessert I went with popcorn. Very addictive!

This place is awesome! Food was great and for it being fast food, you did not feel bad after eating it. Probably due to the lack of chemicals. Highly recommend trying this place out. I had the chicken sandwich with sesame ginger along with a boxed water and my wife had a chicken sandwich with organic coconut soda.

They only have 3 chicken items cooked the same way, but with one of four sauce selection. They serve it by sandwich, wrap or salad style. They serve the best tasting "fast food" chicken Ive ever had. And their lemonade is awesome. I really hope they add iced tea so that they can offer Arnold Palmers!

The chicken is great. Tots where good too. You better like fried chicken, because its fried chicken served 3 different ways. If I wanted to compared it to "Jesus" chicken, then its right up there. I just think it is a little too expensive for a chicken sandwich. That being said, Id still come back.

"Organic Coup".... what a great play on words! It seems that almost no one even gets it... LOL... Love it! Its not a "coop" like a chicken coop. Its coup (koo), as in a strategically planned takeover! An Organic Coup no less... Dont be chicken because it says "organic".. the foods good!

The place is clean, the food came out pretty quick. The server walks it to our table. The only thing is the chicken is luke warm.... Like its been sitting for a whole. But other than that favors are pretty good

Delish chicken sammy! Love the slaw - I tried the ginger dressing and it didnt dissapoint, there was jalapenos, and it was actually spicy :), the chicken was cooked perfectly. Ill be back!
