My wife and I had the worst experience of our lives today. We spend a lot of money at your restaurant. We came in to eat and again were very rudely treated by your manager. She told us we owed for drinks from another visit. She said we never paid our bill. She accused us of walking out without paying for one round of drinks. She said she saw us as we left leaving without paying. All this is a lie. I have never left a restaurant without paying. I am a retired fire professional and I served my country in the marine corps in Vietnam. She was very rude and we were insulted to the point that we had to leave. She told us to leave and to never come back. Is this how your employees treat your good customers? We were and we are still are very upset. We were made to feel like second class citizens. We will never come back to La Rosa Taqueria in Santa Rosa, unless we are given a written apology for her unprofessional conduct. She is her mid thirties and she is very unprofessional. Her first name is Emily. She would not give us her last name. We called back after we left and she said she gave us the opportunity to pay for our drinks from the previous visit. She said she saw us looking around at the front door to see if anyone was looking and according to her we left. This is all a lie as on that particular day we were on the patio and we left after paying our bill that was brought to us. Let us know what else you need from us. Thank you for your assistance.

I have never reviewed a restaurant until now. This was a fantastic eating experience! The food quality was outstanding, & our service was great. Tequila selection was over 200 types and the bartenders knew all of them. Not only did they know them, they genuinely wanted to share that knowledge. It was as much an education about tequila, as the wine education I received touring vineyards. I wish I would have taken a cab there so I could have enjoyed more of it. (I stopped at 2 so this is not a dizzy review lol) Calling all Canadians.......check this place out because we have nothing remotely this good in all of the Great White North. Its DAMNED good eh!

Our go-to lunch and dinner spot for Mexican in Santa Rosa. Reasonably priced food and drinks, a relaxing vibe inside with lower lighting in the dining room and outside on the patio area that looks out on Courthouse Square, and friendly and attentive service make it a consistently good experience. The food, while nothing spectacular, is always good and I was pleasantly surprised when I asked to sub out the rice and beans for grilled veggies and got an amazing selection of summer squash, mushroom, onions, asparagus, and other deliciousness in place of the usual boring sides. Been making that substitution ever since!

An okay place with a nice and large outdoor patio. If it not during the "party times" this is a decent place to get a drink/beverage and a snack. The is standard "Mexican" Pub like food. There nothing special about this place food, service, or atmosphere. It is a large bar with lots of seating and a definite come and party style, which is fine if that is your want. There is dancing upstairs on the weekends, which for some is very nice if you like to club it in that environment. It is loud, you can hear the happening from a few blocks away even with the large buildings around it.

Held our pre-wedding cocktail party at this venue and it was a great success. We booked out the entire upper deck and bar for three and a half hours on a Friday evening. For a Tex-Mex style restaurant, the food was still quite inventive and definitely tasty and plentiful. The service was great, with the bar staff and wait staff assigned were friendly and helpful - even when we had a few people try and sneak past the "Private Event" sign! Would recommend this place for a casual meal or if you wanted to plan an event in the area.

La Rosa Tequileria is a popular Mexican restaurant in downtown Santa Rosa. The atmosphere is warm and cozy eventhough the restaurant is rather large. There were four people in my party and we were seated right away. We ordered our food quickly and we didnt have to wait long for the meals to be served. The food was authentic Mexican and very good. I thought the prices were very reasonable for the amount of food we were served. If I come back to Santa Rosa I would definitely return to this restaurant.

I was so glad to see that the Cantina is gone. La Rosa is a fantastic restaurant. The building itself is quite impressive and has a beautiful interior. The wait staff was fun and energetic, more than deserving of tips. Most importantly, La Rosa has an excellent menu. I havent tried everything, but the flavors are bold, portions are large, and nothing goes over $13. I love their beef and chicken enchiladas and the burger and fries are some of the best Ive ever tasted.

Had dinner here on a Sunday night while in town on vacation. The food was excellent, the service not so much. I would have given a 5 star rating if not for our server. He was slow, never asked how things were, and didnt clean our dirty plates off the table after we had finished eating. The other servers around us seemed to be on their game, just not this guy. Great food, great drinks. Just this one slow waiter. The food was worth the pain of his poor wait skills.

Wish I could give a negative!! Food was nasty!! Waiting 15 mins for water. Then had to move because the patio seating smelled like rotten beer. We moved inside and it was a bit better. Never have I been to a place where the bathroom smelled better than the restaurant!! Oh dont even get me started on the food!! Both my husband and I didnt like it, and with what little we ate, we were sick for the rest of the day!! DO NOT GO HERE!! We are in COMPLETE DISGUST!!

Above average for Tex Mex. The restaurant is huge. Nice outdoor seating on the plaza. The chips, salsa, and guac are good. We had nachos which were pretty standard and mini tacos al pastor. The tacos had some non traditional creative flavors. A little sweet with the pineapple but pretty tasty. I have a preference for more authentic Mexican food, but I would definitely go back for the drinks and atmosphere.

Best Salsa in town. Food is good. Wonderful girls waiting tables but almost every interaction with floor managers types has been poor. Unfriendly and arrogant...sometimes a little more like a bouncer than a welcoming reatauranteer. No greeting, no thank you come again, and brusque when you engage them in person and on the phone--not inviting..kind of like being at a gym only gym staff are friendlier.

We went to have lunch here on Memorial day... It was busy but not too bad. We sat outside which was really pleasant, the food was great, very authentic with the twist of Sonoma taste... And the drinks were yummy. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because our food took a long time to get there and our waitress was not so attentive, but we also understood that it was a holiday.
