Great sandwiches. Even better service. I worked in the area for 2 years and went to ALL the delis in the area and this place is the best. Toasted Dutch Crunch is the ticket here. The pastrami is legit. I probably filled out 10 frequent customer cards in my time working in PA. It says you should get a sandwich valued at 6.95 i think when you redeem. They always let me get whatever i wanted for free. The owner is a real nice guy and so are all the employees. You must try this place. Call ahead because it can get PACKED during lunch. The prices are very fair. Less expensive than Village Cheese Shop and better/bigger sandwiches. Way better than Ace of Sandwiches. The only place that compared was JJs Market but they either left or are being remodeled.

The staff were wonderful. It was my first time visiting and eating at Driftwood Deli & Market. However I am not from the area. So I did not know what to expect. I wanted to enjoy eating somewhere authentic to Palo Alto. I read great reviews online and decided to stop in for a quick bite. I will for sure be returning in the future. I had the Chicken Salad Sandwich. It was so delicious! I will add Driftwood as my lunch place whenever I have to visit the Veteran Hospital here! :) Thank you!!

If you assume the Driftwood Deli is your average convenience and packaged goods store, youd be grossly underestimating it. The excellent sandwiches here are stuffed with ingredients, offer multiple bread choices, and clock in under $10, with a few exceptions. Service is prompt and friendly. The cafe also offers outdoor table seating in the back (overlooking the Creekside Inn) and front (overlooking El Camino).

In my opinion this is the best sandwich place on the peninsula. Quality is always perfect, there is plenty of seating (inside and a nice patio outside), and the owner is super friendly. Its also a full convenience store so you can pick up drinks, chips, yogurt, etc. The best neighborhood deli around. The only downside is they arent open on Sundays.

They have a decent espresso machine, and make acceptable espresso - that is better than people who dont know what they are doing/dont care but not an expert cup. Food is pretty good, probably preferable to many other places in the area you could go, but I wouldnt go out of my way to eat here. Id return.

Co-worker brought a sandwich back for me today and it was so delicious. I got a California Club and they didnt skimp on the bacon or the avocado at all. Apparently, this place has been around for 15+ years! Now that I know about, Ill be heading there more often for lunch..

These sandwiches are unbeatable. I stopped here after days of traveling and eating everything under the sun, and that number 10 on light rye was somehow so.... Refreshing. I dont think Ive ever been able to say that about a sandwich before!
