Decided to check this place out for lunch yesterday and was disgusted by their filthy menus. I tried grabbing one from the back of the stack, but they all seemed to be crusty and coated with dried-up filth. The staff seemed more focused on their conversation during sandwich making to greet the one customer waiting at the counter, me. I thought maybe a salad would be safe to order, but a few minutes later when sandwich lady came to the counter, she informed me they ran out of that salad. I took it as an omen and left!!

I went there the first time this past saturday and got a medium northshore it has three diffrents meats in it and it was so big i could hardley close the sandwhich and it was very good, You will get your moneys worth there if any of you been to ikes then you know his places dont put hardly any meat on there sandwhichs. But beach hut does put a lot of meat on theres, this a great place to eat at yu will be coming back again and again Beach hut deli is super great

I was really excited to try this place, but while I was waiting for my sandwich, I noticed that they were handling the meats, cheeses, tomatoes and lettuce with their bare hands. The man making the sandwich was picking up the pulled pork by the handful and putting it on the sandwich. Then hed put the pork container away, and grab the cheese (same hand), then the lettuce and tomato. Sorry, but that just did it for me. Im not going back again.

Ive only eaten at Beach Hut a few times and each time it was really great!!! The sandwiches are very delicious and satisfying. And the gal that helped me, Summer, was wonderful. I highly recommend this deli for something unique and yummy in San Jose!

Potato salad doesnt taste good. The sandwiches are pretty common. I do like the alfalfa sprouts though. No fries option but they do have chips or nachos. When I ordered my surfin bird, I told them not to put cheese in there, but they still did.

My favorite sandwich in the world is the Beach Burger. Hot roast beef, melted cheddar cheese topped with mustard, ketchup, pickles, tomatoes, onions, lettuce and bacon. Order the medium and split it with a friend. (or Hot wahini next to you)

Try the Surfin Pig! Full of Ham, Avocado Tomatoes, pickles, peppers, and cream cheese....Yeah, cream cheese sounds a little strange on a sandwich, but trust me, youll love it! Small is plenty!

Really like this place, they have great beers on tap as well as cool relaxed atmosphere. I like the malibu .. the homemade garlic bread they use is just amazing .. actual cloves of garlic ..
