I typically like to grocery shop close to home. I really dont like to travel far for groceries unless I thought it was worth it. Winco is awesome and it is open 24 hours! These are a few reasons why I love Winco. 1. Im always experimenting with recipes so if I need a spice I dont have Im not forced to by the whole thing. If I only want a teaspoon it would be possible in their spice section. They charge by the ounce. 2. The food is cheap! Fore example I found medium sized ground beef packets for 99 cents. Containers of strawberries $1.45 instead of 2 for $5.00. Pita bread ( fluffy kind) 99 cents. It lasted longer then the one I bought from Whole Foods that went bad in under a week. 3. You can get the food cheaper because they do take coupons. 4. I havent tried this yet but you can make your own peanut butter. It may be out of the way but it is worth the trip! Please make sure you either bring a debit card or cash because they dont take credit cards.

Just got back home after a wonderful shopping experience at this Winco Food Store! To be honest I havent shopped the store in a good long while, but tonight I was happy to be walking back into the store and was very surprised to see some awesome prices on the products. The store was very well kept, very clean and very organized and the staff was very helpful and friendly. And I loved the prices I found on the flats of chicken, full flats of chicken thighs for around $4.00 each, each flat contained 10 pieces, awesome deal. Plus my good friend Christopher who was shopping with me was way impressed with the stores bulk section and admits its their bulk section that he keeps coming back for. With Winco, one doesnt have to be an extreme couponer to save money, the stores everyday prices alone almost make coupons a waste of time! We love the store, and Ill definitely be coming back soon!

I bought a pack of their value chicken breast in a package and the expiration date was like 4 days away still yet it was spoiled the same day I bought it. I went straight home from there so I know it was already bad when I bought it. The color was kinda yellowish and it smelled like rotten eggs when I opened it. Could have been dangerous if I had tried eating it, but Ive had food poisoning before so I know its not worth the $10. I called them up and was transfered a few times and put on hold for a while, one of them wanted me to bring it back in, but I threw it away along with the packaging and told them it would be unsafe for me to dig it out of the trash and bring in raw spoiled chicken so they said to bring the reciept in and I could get store credit. Great customer service, if they would have said theres nothing they can do I would not be going back there again.

We have been shopping at the Ovale Winco since it opened, always been my favorite store but over the last few months it has just bottomed out. Both outdoors and indoors the place is littered with trash, isles are loaded with pallets of merchandise making it hard to shop... all of this should be handled before 8 when the major amount of ppl start to arrive. Yesterday was the last time I will ever enter that store... litter all over but the worst of it all was two areas of the produce sections were totally empty and absolutely filthy! I am not easy to gross out but this was nasty and it makes you wonder what it is like under all the other produce. Then when we got home we discovered that the bread we bought was moldy. I am extremely sad about all this and I will miss some of the super nice people that work there.

The staff is friendly and helpful. I can go here and get great deals on bulk items. I gave it 3 stars because of the Riff Raff and animals. As of lately, there seems to be an increase of tweekers and shady looking people in the parking lot. I made a complaint with the local authorities because people were in the parking lot using drugs. I also find it funny that there is a, "No Animals Allowed Eexpect Service Animals, " but, people being in Chihuahuas and non service dogs. The staff cant do anything about that but, I wish they could.

the prices are good, the product is good, but I have found bugs in my fruit before. its difficult to find a worker so I can locate something, but checking out is usually no problem. self check out is easiest. the options are always the same in terms of what they sell, and mid-day through traffic it is always packed so later in the day or early morning is a good time to go. service dogs are ok but no therapy dogs. overall, this establishment is decently kept and up to code as of recently (from my observation).

WinCo is like the ghetto of the grocery stores. Its known, but you know what? The prices are fantastic. Meats are a bargain. Produce is too but you have to eat it in two days of the purchase. Everything else is lower than everyone else. There is a huge selection too, its big. Location is great, parking has never been a problem. The staff have always been friendly. Theres a really good coconut juice there thats my favorite by Parrot, I think.

The night staff is seriously ridiculous. They will mean mug you and expect you to get out of their way. When going up to be checked out I was ignored for MINUTES, not because I wasnt noticed but because apparently shuffling boxes was more important. This is not the first time it has happened. Its honestly not worth the price savings to shop at a place where every employee hates to be there.

Worst winco in the Sacramento Area. Dirty for Wincos standards. Incompetence starts at the top with the boss Sondra Craddock and those under her follow her example of terrible customer service. They cant even set aside a simple call in order!! After there last idiotic mistake cost me money, I will not be returning to this store again.

I love this store, I rarely do my main grocery & household shopping anyplace else. When they are restocking and leave stuff in the isles it can be annoying, but they have to stock sometime. Overall, the staff is good, the store is clean, the prices are the lowest and the food is good quality.

Im not going to name the tortillas that I get because Im SERIOUSLY obsessed with them and I buy them out every time I go in and theyre the only place that I know of that carries them. Plus huge things of Sriracha for uber cheap. Omg I love this store. Perfect for living on a budget

When I first discovered WinCo a few years ago, I was utterly amazed Blam! I cut my food bill in half! Yet it is a delightful store - clean, full of happy personnel, and populated with every imaginable food and other grocery store stuff. This is just a marvelous place to shop.
