I use to shop for my grocery needs every week here and here are the reasons on why you should not shop here. 1. I always find bugs in their produce which I know can be quite normal for stores to have but a medium black spider on berries?? Glad I saw it before I grabbed the pack. 2. I purchased a chocolate cake, came home and took a couple bites and the taste was horrible! Looked at the date and it was expired by THREE WHOLE MONTHS. Why does a store have a 3 month old cake? Do you know how many days have passed that NOT ONE PERSON paid any attention to their bakery?? I immediately rushed back and talked to a male at customer service and also asked for the manager. The manager was female, dark-toned skin, and had black hair. I told her about my situation and let her know that I ate this and hopefully I wont get sick. She said I wouldnt and that its only a couple days old. I showed her the 3 month old date and she just argued that its not old and I wouldnt get sick. She never even apologized. I got fed up with her snobby attitude (whom btw was multitasking, not making a big deal). And decided to leave. 3. A couple months later I forget about the incident and out of habit I ended up shopping their once more. This time I did a short grocery run, came home thirsty, and grabbed for my coconut water. Something popped into my head to first check the date and what do you know, 2 MONTHS EXPIRED. One again, they are not properly handeling a store. And if they constantly have expired food on shelves (momths apart from the 2 incidents by the way) then its completely possible that the food they serve and the food thats in the back is also months, MONTHS expired. Do not buy here, do not eat here. Go ACROSS the street to NUGGET MARKET, or around the CORNER to SPROUTS- you will be MUCH satisfied.

I dont enjoy grocery shopping and Winco doesnt make it better, crazy rude customers and floor staff that seem to blend in. However I am giving them four stars because without a doubt they are the best place to buy food staples in the area. I have shopped at all of the local stores and end up coming back to Winco because of the prices. They have a good selection of the basics and keep them stocked, which is fantastic and makes them reliable. I have never had a rude cashier, usually they are just so busy trying to get through the crowd they dont have time to talk. I wish they carried more organic food but for the price, its unbeatable. Thanks for helping me combat my grocery bill.

Winco has won my loyalty over the years. Mainly because whenever I check out Im always surprised by the low cost of my grocery bill. I am in love with their bulk section. I love their slabs of callebaut chocolate, golden flaxseed, and dozens of different flours and grains. Im a bit of a foodie, and though I cant find all the specialty things I need at winco, Im always surprised what I can find, like agave nectar or fresh honey. And dont miss their bakerys bagels, theyre delish. My husband would rather not deal with the crowds and size of Winco, but for me its well worth it.

I love Winco. Their prices are exceptionally low and the customer service is excellent. They have a large variety of everything and their produce is always fresh and the best buy in town. Their deli has great choices and very good prices. The only thing I dont buy there is meats. Im spoiled with Costco choice meats and Winco just cannot compare. The shelf prices of staples is amazing so Im a lifelong customer. Also, their store is always clean and the folks that work there are polite and cheerful. The others (Safeway, Nugget, Raleys, Bel Air) just cannot compete.

Poor customer service ... when asked for ID and after i showed it they did not sell the content because I was accompanied by someone who did not have ID with them. When I stated that the law states that purchaser is required to show ID only was told "Im sorry I cant sell you this"...no explanation why or if they have a protocol to follow....this really upset me please inform your employees on the facts they need to know before you put them on the line. First time I had this issue since the law was enforced.

Im sorry but Walmart & Safeway are twice as expensive as Winco. We get our "staple" foods every two weeks and it costs $150 at Walmart, $200 at Safeway and $95 at Winco. Dont like their selection of produce so we go to Denios on Sundays and get our fresh produce there (at half the price). We hate the crowds too but found that Sunday mornings (during church time) is the best time to go and shop. LOVE MY WINCO!

Winco is not the cheapest store, only couple things are cheaper in comparison to walmart or safeway. But the worst thing is that they don`t accept credit cards. every major store does accept. My experience was that I could pay for things just because they do not accept credit cards. I will not go back to that store again.

Love this store for its great prices! Decent selection, maybe not quite as much variety as a traditional grocery store, but good enough. Bulk bin food department is awesome! They dont accept credit cards and you bag your own groceries. But the low prices make that worth it - I drive in from out of town to go here!

Be very careful. Was robbed in the parking lot while loading groceries into the trunk of my car. Probably looking for purse. Wasnt in cart at the time so he grabbed a bag of groceries and jumped in a getaway car. Reported what happend, said to bad, nothing they could do.

Find really good deals especially if you have coupons. Some items they dont carry like a full line of Franks Sauce, full line of Yoplait, very few hot pocket options, but theres a large option of cereal, coffee and chip options. Staff friendly and helpful.

Big, busy but affordable. Some bulk items but where youre not buying multiples. They carry most of your daily needs. Only thing is that they Do Not accept credit card payments only debit cards, checks or cash. Also bring your own bags.

Typical WinCo and get experience. But I list say, for a Saturday, on a holiday weekend, WinCo was adequately staffed. And the last best moved quickly. I will continue to be a loyal shopper at WinCo, as the prices are phenomenal!

Beware. They dont take credit cards nor checks with addresses out of the area. Wish there was a sign that clearly states policy at the entrance. Selection is limited. Cashier friendly but lacked support from store manager.
