It was my sisters birthday today and unfortunately she had to work. So since she deserved to be treated on her birthday and she had been craving japanese for a while we all decided that i could go pick up the food early and bring it back during her lunch. When we got there it took a little while for some on to notice us, even though that same person had walked back and forth and had seen me before, and when we ordered our food we sat there for an hour waiting for four simple orders. We specified our request for no onions or egg in two of the dishes and on the other two woth just no onions. One of the dishes was asked to be made with miso broth with an extra miso soup on the side. Nothing else. Its picky i know but not complicated. And we were asked several times to repeat ourselves and after waiting a whole hour for everything they managed to mess up every single thing we asked for. Except that they put it in to-go containers... every order had onions the miso broth wasnt miso broth... and another sad fact is that im not sure that they take into consideration that various people vould be allergic to certain things that are cooked in the day so they should be cleaning their grills after every use... my sister is allergic to seafood and after tasting what was supposed to be her "miso broth" (was actually seemed to be a mix of diff. things) she tasted fish and soon after she started having her allergic reaction; she started wheezing and feeling nauseous and her airways were feeling tight... so obviously this place is not clean and have horrible costomer service and horrible cooking manners. Never going here again. Very dissapointed. Wasnt even good.

On the day I discovered this place, I was actually jonesin for some In-N-Out. But my cousin convinced me that a food addict such as myself had to ABSOLUTELY come try this place out while I visited Los Angeles. I have never been more thankful for a suggestion. This is the best Ramen I have ever had, in any city in the US. Even my kid, a 3 year old whos not so adventurous with food, loved it. It is the coziest, most delicious, comfort food you could possibly ask for. Service was great, and the prices are unbelievably reasonable. Get here early if you plan on having dinner, or youll end up waiting for a while. The place is tiny so it fills up quick....and as other reviewers have noted, parking sucks. But its not an issue when you know youre getting such great food as soon as youve found a spot.Okazu Ramen House is best.

So i went here for a friends birthday. Seated next to us was a young mother holding her child who was having a pretty dramatic crying episode. The hostess went over to her and asked her to control her child or she would have to dine elsewhere. The mother mother insisted something was wrong with the child and began to A few seconds later the child spit blood from its mouth along with a fairly sharp piece of uncooked noodle. Needless to say we left before ordering.

The noodles tasted fresh and had bounce, the chashu broth is pretty good, and its usually a comfortable place. One thing I wish is that there were a yasai ramen or just more vegetables in any of the soups, which there really arent. The organization places the tables are right next to each other, and sometimes I feel a bit like people are too close or listening in on my conversation, but otherwise the service is good and the atmosphere is okay. And hey, its ramen!

Restaurant located in a plaza with plenty of free parking . It was a cold and rainy night , so decided to look for a ramen place to keep us warm. The food was responsibly price for the amount of food you get . They had a steady flow of customers dining in and takeout as well . Glad we checked this place out, which was great to have a delicious bowl of ramen . Especially on a rainy evening like we had .

Well my boyfriend took me here and my personal experince and opinion was that I really liked the ramen. The waitresses are really nice and as soon as you come in they notice and have tables ready. The atmosphere is simple and relaxing. Food is home made or hand made you can say its fresh. My favorite is spicy chicken cutlet curry ramen.

I go here once a week when possible, I like the atmosphere the waiters and waitresses are friendly and helpful. My favorite is sitting down to a big bowl of Spicy Miso or tonkotsu shoyu with some green tea and taking in some relaxing music after a long day. I recommend it to anyone who is looking for good ramen in orange.

Delicious food with friendly service. During our last visit we had Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen, Grilled Mackerel, and Curry; everything was fantastic. Be sure to order their Matcha Iced Green Tea, it comes perfectly sweetened without overpowering the delicate Matcha flavour; a must try for tea aficionados.

Just a warning that the hours of operation posted on google maps isnt accurate. We just went there on a Monday a little after 10am and it was closed. I havent eaten here yet so I cant comment on the food quality or value, but just make sure you call before you go until they update their hours.

Teriyaki chicken is blant, flamebroiler has a better teriyaki chicken. Ramen is blant too and lack of toppings. I would not suggest to people to go here for Ramen and teriyaki chicken. Other foods here are ok but not the best. Service is ok too. The place is clean. Restroom is clean.

Me and my family have been coming here for years and the food and service is always wonderful here. I have been to a lot ramen houses and Okazu is one of my favorites. The food is excellent and the prices are very reasonable. A great place in OC for ramen!

I ended up paying $14 for a bowl of mediocre noodles, odd tasting broth, and a CAN of soda. A can. Really? The shop was practically empty, but I still sat around waiting. In an area so dense with good ramen, I wonder how this one has so many good reviews.

Nice quiet and relaxing place. Great big portions for the price too! Love the booths they have for they also put big comfy cushions with pillows for you. The atmosphere is very traditional Japanese.

Great place, great food, great experience. I have been here several times and each time the food tastes great and the service is great. Mildly understaffed during the rushes but they try their best.

I had the gyoza and tonkatsu ramen. The gyoza were unappetizing, greasy, and didnt taste right. The ramen broth was bland, and the noodles were disappointing. Not going back if I can avoid it.

This is a VERY fine place for ramen, sushi, and saki. The music is BEAUTIFUL jazz and those who dont like it are just weird. The servers are always wonderful.

The atmosphere is a little dull but the food more then makes up for it. Update: We have been coming back over and over so food is making a lasting impression.
