Similar to the Berkeley location, except better because they are on Caviar and you can get Gregoire delivered! The only thing you HAVE to try here is the potato puffs. The sauces complement the crispy outer surface and the soft fluffy center of the potato puffs. Their croque monsiuer is pretty good, as well as the fried chicken, but the star of Gregoire are those potato puffs. Do it. And get the sauces. Dont think too much about nutrition...

The food here is absolutely amazing. I love that the menu changes regularly. The shrimp ceviche was delicious. This location seems less busy than the Berkeley location. I think I may have seen Gregoire himself (he had a beard and was wearing a knitted cap just like in their logo)! Definitely a local treat that you must try if youre in the area.

Meet up a friend here because she was raving about the potato balls and boy was it worth it. The menu changes every month and flavor as always exciting. One of the items on that menus are their raving potato balls (for those who are from LA similar to portos but not as big). very suitable for easy comfort lunch for a decent price.

Basically fast food versions of what you would expect from a really super nice steak restaurant in france. The food is delicious, full of butter, and delivered in cute little cardboard take-away cases. No atmosphere whatsoever. A food bar for ordering and waiting, a few seats by the window. Better to take and go.

Quick, affordable, and delicious. We had the salmon on puff pastry and potato puffs w parmesan. Only reason for no 5 is no dine in plates, just those lame cardboard boxes. Robust for take out but cheapens the experience for dine in, and washing a dish is greener than composting a dead tree

I love this cute tiny restaurant! My favor sandwiches are the buttermilk chicken and cajun fish. Oh the potato puff, oh la la la! Miam miam. The cashier is very friendly! If you are a group you may have to wait as they dont have that much space! I recommend you order to take away!

Stopped in for a dinner beef kabob recently--undercooked, not very flavorful and the sugar snap peas were beyond cooked. Too bad, I used to love this spot, but wont be back anytime soon. Plus the cook area is very dogeared and dirty.

This is one of those places I wish I knew about sooner. So Im sharing it with you. Gregoire is a great place to grab a bite to eat. It make be a small hole in the wall, but some of the best food in Oakland comes out of that kitchen.

Gregoire is great for takeout- there is minimal seating inside and its not comfortable. However - check your order before you leave. I have gotten the wrong order twice. The fried chicken sandwich cant be beat though.

Great sandwiches. I actually like their fried chicken sandwich better than Bakesale Bettys. Can start to feel greasy if you eat inside but they have a few outdoor tables thats also great for people watching.

Very friendly staff, great food! The poutine is especially bomb. Something about cheese curds onto of the fries... Then topped with gravy..... Then lightly baked until the cheese melts. Omgoodness.
