After eating their sourdough crust brick oven pizza, no other pizza cuts it for me. Awesome breads, baked in the brick oven with the residual heat from the pizza cooking the night before. The beers turned me into a wannabe connoisseur, and made me like stouts and porters for the first time. They have a higher commitment to local, sustainable sourcing than any restaurant Ive ever heard of. Most places say "we use organic ingredients whenever possible," or something along those lines but if you ask them to get specific it turns out whenever possible means about 20-30% of the time. Ive heard its in the high high nineties at Three Forks. Even though the BLT is their most popular sandwich, they dont serve it in the winter because there arent any local tomatoes. The opening of this place transformed my whole relationship with the town because now I always know there will be extraordinarily clean food at a reasonable price any time of day and great loitering. And, yes, Im a little biased because I always see my friends there. Stop googling and go already!

I want to give this place 5 stars but my experience has been mixed. Had the worst blt ever here. But Ive also had some amazing muffins (honey sweetened) and sometimes they have these...egg muffins I guess you could call them. Like a mini bread muffin with egg and veggies or bacon. Sooooo, good. The coffee is solid but Ive had better locally. The atmosphere is gorg. Such a cute little bakery. Ive gotta try the beer and pizza now that Im no longer preggo. Will update once I do. All in all, this is one of those spots I love to visit. But, if youre looking for coffee: summer thyme is better. And if youre looking for a full breakfast: south pine takes it. They do offer free wifi. So, another score there. I say, locals should frequent, frequently. :)

My son and I just had a late lunch here. He lived his kids pizza... My Greek Salad on the other hand was disappointing to say the least... It was supposed to come with cucumbers, tomatoes, scallions, radishes, feta, and vinaigrette. I asked for no Feta... I also got no radishes or scallions... when I asked, I got radishes... still no scallions... I gave up and ate the VERY small salad... bonus point! When I went to get my self serve water a child was licking the spigot on the water canister... nice enough staff but will not go back....

I love the weekly menu changes and farm-to-table ideology. Ive enjoyed everything Ive ever ordered here, but the service is usually lacking. Ive waited in line 30+ minutes practically every time I visit just to order. And after ordering Im often unable to find a table to sit at. The counter-service works really well for smaller crowds, but the large dinner crowd tends to overwhelm the single cash register. The great food and support of local farmers make up for Three Forks flaws, Ill keep coming back.

This place is exactly what Nevada City has needed for a very long time. Big ups to the owners for sourcing local meats and produce. Excellent beers on tap and growlers to go. House Salad is a favorite and the kids love watching the pizza chefs throw the dough. I dont mind setting and clearing my own table but my only wish is that someone would come around to your table and offer to refill your beer when you need another so you dont have to stand in line (sometimes long but worth it) all over again.

My wife and I shared a salad and a pizza and each had a glass a wine at Three Forks following the Wild and Scenic Film Festival. It was a perfect venue and the food was great. We knew we had found the right place for a light supper when we saw the staff throwing their own pizza dough and the wood burning pizza oven. We loved the active atmosphere and the common tables. Great wine and beer selection. Were already looking forward to a repeat at next years Film Festival.

Three Forks always has excellent food, from their pizzas, to all their treats, to the coffee and beer. I think the main reason for their great food is that they always use great ingredients, especially sourcing local ingredients. I give them one star off for having really poor Internet service, which makes me hesitant to come here to get some work done. I also really enjoy the look and feel of the place. Nice natural lighting, lots of wood and metal.

I love this place. If I owned a restaurant, it would be exactly like 3 forks. They source as locally as possible, their menu is extremely diverse and seasonal, and they have an amazing brewery to top it off! Its a little pricey but I guess I am used to paying for high quality food so I treat myself every once in awhile. It might be nice if they had a budget menu...Id visit more often!

Bakery and Brewery...perfect combination for a date night. Great location in Nevada City. The beer was excellent and the food was tasty. Lively crowd and fun decor. Very friendly staff always a plus :-) We stopped in since it was right across the street from Crazy Horse Saloon concert we were attending. Fun place, reasonably priced and worth checking out.

This is a great place to eat and drink-breakfast, lunch, dinner or in-between. There is always terrific food to hit the spot. New items appear regularly and thank goodness some of my favorites, like the wonderful house salad, are always there. The beer is excellent. If you are lucky, the line is short...if not, it is worth the wait.

Beers were good, but the experience was not. This place was too hip for me; I mean boy, staff made me feel invisible. Not a smile from them, just reluctance to simple service. I dont expect much, but courtesy shouldnt be that difficult. They gave me a bad vibe. First time I felt poorly in a brewery, my 91st brewery btw.

Relaxing, spacious, high ceilings. Relaxing place to have coffee and pastry in the morning, surrounded by interesting art. The espresso is sooooo tasty. The signs say they use loca, sustainable ingredients. We will be back for the breads, and lunch/dinner food.

Delicious farm to table food. Its not your average menu so dont expect a classic burger & fries but even if the menu is too exciting for your taste you can get a delicious slice of fresh baked sourdough with butter. Simple but amazing. We love this place.

Nice sized snack plates (Goat cheese/bacon on toast, roasted sweet potatoes) for a mid-afternoon with a drink. Coffee (Americano) was not impressive so would definitely try a brew/cider/wine instead next time. Pizzas looked great!

Great food that is locally sourced and beer made on the premises. The menu changes weekly depending on seasonality. The bakery produces top-notch breads and pastries. This eatery is definitely worth investigating!

Id live there if I could. Good food, drink, hospitality and lively environment make Three Forks perfect for meeting people for business and/or pleasure, or relaxing and/or reflecting with your favorite beverage.

Awesome fresh ingredients. Im from SFL. Everyone in NO CALIFORNIA have it spoiled with these AMAZING fresh ingredients. The beer was good as well. West Coast kicks the East Coast in food quality period.
