As a restaurateur and consultant I am jaded in always looking for the best service, the best quality, and the best atmosphere. What I found today was the worst of all three. I was running late for a conference call so when I walked into Found Coffee I immediately took out my computer and turned it on. After trying to connect to the internet I got up to ask for the Wi-Fi password. At Found Coffee in order to get Wi-Fi a ticket has to be printed for you from the cashier and it is only good for 2 hours. After standing there waiting for the 3 individuals at the cashiers station to give the Wi-Fi password to me I sat down and entered it. While I was in the middle of introductions on my call an associate came up to me and asked me what she could get started for me because Wi-Fi was for guests only. Not only was I taken aback but I was offended. As I begin to realize that I was offended I also realized that the entire conversation was heard on the other line with my business client. I had to explain to them that I was at a "hipster" restaurant where they play by their rules. Got up and left- ended up at Coffee Bean. So much for trying not to go to a chain. First and last time there- ever.

An adorable neighborhood find! This is probably my favorite coffee shop in Eagle Rock. Coffee: Their cold brew definitely had a lot more acidity than Im used to, but nevertheless, great coffee here! Theyve got a variety that I have yet to try, so Im sure theres a little something for everyone. Design: Has the whole trendy industrial look to it, and its beautiful! (Instagram/Tumblr/blog post/new Facebook profile picture worthy) Parking: Its a bit of a tight parking lot, but theres residential parking in the area. Pastries: I have yet to try their pastries (they look so good!), but that chicken adobo handpie looks pretty mean....gotta give it a try soon!

Amazing coffee! The smell of drip coffee reminded me I was looking for this place as I nearly passed it walking. I had espresso, and it was perfect. I rarely have one so smooth and creamy. Oh the crema! They had cold brewed and the pour overs were so exotic that I almost ordered one after a quad espresso. The pastries were from somewhere else and were beyond excellence. This is a new and surprising gem of Eagle Rock.

A 16oz Americano should not be a difficult order. They dont even have a 16oz cup so suggested a smaller cup then charged me more but only filled it partially. Im already paying extra for some additional hot water, you cant even fill up the cup? The actual coffee is mediocre but passable. They do seem to do well with locals and know everyones order.

Perfect neighborhood coffee spot! The staff is super friendly, coffee is delicious (the macchiatos and Americans are very tasty), and the space is zen. Theyre also beginning to offer more food options, which are great! Oh, and having free parking is a major plus

Great little coffee shop. Terrific cold brew coffee and the pastries (which come from elsewhere) were great. This place is a gem thats tucked into a small strip mall. Comfortable place to sit and sip, though it gets a little loud and busy on the weekends.

Nice spot. Another hipster E-lancer spot. Starbucks with a soul. Had a cold brew and it was ok. Was planning on ordering a pastry until I saw the counter guy playing with his hair and touching his face, so I passed.

We stopped into Found Coffee to purchase some ground coffee for a friend. As soon as you walk in, the aroma of coffee beans fills the air. I dont drink coffee but this seems like a nice, upscale place.

Nice local spot, very clean and bright and ample seating. Careful turning into the lot -- the intersection is a bit dicey. Coffee is really good, not so sure about the chai latte.
