Food and service was really good. This place wouldve been a five star for me had it not been for THE FLIES. How many flies does it take to make me annoyed. Idk but there were 10+ flies just swarming towards our meal. Had the food been bad, my friends and I wouldve left the place immediately. I just dont understand why there were so many little flies though!! Got the bleu burger with truffle fries and it was absolutely amazing. Think of an umami burger size burger with bleu cheese and bacon and yumminess. Truffle fries are a little extra so my meal wasnt the cheapest it couldve been but it was worth the try. Next time though, I might just stick with the regular fries. My friend got the side salad which comes for free if you dont get fries and was the busiest swatting flies. Perhaps flies liked the salad most. The lemonade they had that day was strawberry and pineapple and was SO GOOD. You can try a sample in one of their cups too and its a pretty sizable sample cup. Also, best of all, free refills!!!!

Waited for my food for awhile but I thought the wait was pretty reasonable. I was pleasantly surprised by the presentation and the quality of the food. Ok, I lied, I did some research beforehand so I kind of know what to expect and indeed, it did not disappoint! I loved my Uptown Swiss burger with Truffle Fries, they were heavenly *insert contented sigh* However, (here comes the "but part," which is also the reason why I didnt give this place a 5 stars), the ventilation inside the restaurant wasnt very good and outdoor seating wont prevent you from smelling like a hamburger either because the smoke from the kitchen kept coming out from the back door which they left ajar (at least that was the case when I went). Though overall, I see myself as a future regular customer :D

Wow, great food EXCELLENT, the service was incredible. I took my whole family on Mothers Day / my birthday. We were in the area because we were going to the Science Center Museum. We called asked if they could accommodate 9, they had our table reserved. We came in they rolled out the RED CARPET. Everyone was extremely happy with the food they ordered. I had the blacklist Chicken Sandwich with truffle fries, a must try... You will go back again. My husband had the tortilla soup, he said it was the best he has ever had. Salads were incredible. I could go on and on, just take the time to try this wonderful close to downtown eatery with a hipster atmosphere, you will fall in LOVE.

They never let me down! The food is always delicious. Meat meat is always tender. Sandwiches are always juicy but bit sloppy. They use such good flavors. I got a salad in place of fries and it served as great pallet cleanser and delicious source of veggies, so I didnt really miss the fries at all. Oh and the dressing was delicious! The guys have really good customer service and were very helping in helping my indecisive friend choose a great dish. I also love the prices and the hours of operation. This place is a must try!

Very cool place...off the beaten path but well worth tracking it down. I had the burger special for today...."The Notorious Pig" .....and it was awesome! Also added a side of their truffle fries and it was a great lunch! I plan to go back often as it is only 1 mile from my office....but would highly recommend it even if you had to drive to get there. I should also mention it has a very cool vibe about it - I had to take my food to go but next time plan to eat there to enjoy the place!! Try it!

Seeing that this place is adjacent to the courthouse, a college campus and a random part of downtown Los Angeles. It has some very weird pricing going on. But hey I thought that the food might actually match those prices, I was kinda wrong. It is way over priced for something that is done so simple and takes 30 minutes to get. The workers were nice and I did enjoy their ranch dressing. If I return I do intend to try their fries that did look amazing from afar.

The meltdown was not by any means calorie-free but it was described by the friendly Chaisson who served it as being "the best tuna melt youll ever have" and I believe him. It was out in 15 minutes which was less than expected considering their sign saying everything is made fresh so expect about 20 minutes for food to arrive. I loved that it came with a large salad portion even though they were out of balsamic vinaigrette. Ill be back for the burger next time.

So I decided to try out Food Haus since all Ive been hearing is great stuff about it. I ordered the blacklisted sandwich with the pink lemonade and the Mr. Caesar side salad and they were all very delicious not to mention their fries were amazing as well!! I recommend you going to try this place out they also have hookah after 8pm which is awesome! Thank you so much Food Haus for the great service and food!

Holy cow. We got the South Central fries and Bleu Burger w/ the salad to share for 2 people and it was way too much food! The fries are humongous and f*n delicious, seriously amazing peeps! The Bleu burger was great and made with obvious care & quality materials. The server was very nice. All in all I will absolutely be back!

Great spot. Its a bit out of the way but from what I remember about the food I liked it a lot. I went here with James B. and Jessica Y. and we all agreed the food was pretty tasty... I completely forgot what I ordered since its been like 8 months since I came here but this place is pretty legit. Trust that.

Great friendly service. Food takes a few minutes longer than your average place but food is not average. Cant wait to come back. I had the Gela and Truffle fries. If I wasnt alone I would of had the south central fries and a burger or after hours torta.

Super fast and incredibly friendly service. My spicy black bean patty with avocado was satisfying and delicious. The sweet potato fries were okay - not hot enough to last a 10 minute drive home and needed more seasoning. Id come back for a quick bite.

Food is 5 stars! Definitely eat here. Love that its a hidden gem. Atmosphere is great too. We had the Mrs. Caesar and CA BLT. Both were fantastic. Im giving four stars because it is a little on the expensive side but portions are large.
