We went there this last Saturday and ordered the huevos Rancharos and a veggie omelett. My husband asked that the eggs be sunnyside up. Well when the meal came, which was longer then expected the eggs where hard and over cooked. My Veggie omelett was was dry and I did not get my avocado and the toast was not toasted enough. I had a veggie omelett at Dennys the weekend before and it was very good. Im not one to dine at Dennys. They were very friendly and gave us a discount of 10% because we were on our Harley. The Cooks looked to be very young and may need to take some cooking classes.

We are locals here in Lodi and visited the Hollywood Cafe thinking it was a local treat. Upon entering, I was not convinced the place was very sanitary so we played it safe and ordered a chicken salad. They mostly have sandwiches anyway. 40 minutes later we got a nice salad covered with some chicken that smelled like Mop Water. I have some janitors that I supervise and I know the smell well. We walked out. They were very nice when I complained. The waitress told me it was their Monterrey Sauce. Good luck selling that one.

Our server wasnt attentive, we waited a looong time for our food, and the food was unsatisfactory. My omelet was overcooked and it had very little veggies although it was a veggie omelet. The hash browns and the country potatoes didnt have any flavor. I would suggest going down the street (just east of there) where you will get your moneys worth of food and service.

This place has obviously changed hands and its so much fun now. We come here for breakfast, and the morning staff are so sweet and cheerful and they make my poached eggs perfectly. I would like the coffee to be stronger but thats just me. Some days its slower than others, but cmon, its a family run restaurant and some days are just like that.

It was last minute decision. Me and my cousin met up for a meeting in Lodi. After the meeting we just said anywhere close. Waitress very polite, gave good service and was attentive. The salads we had were amazing. The prices good. A must return and try something different.

Relaxed atmosphere with a Hollywood theme. Reasonably priced food, good selection and good quality. I usually visit for a breakfast and have never had a complaint (other than finding them closed because I didnt pay attention to what time it was!).

While visiting from Germany we were "stuck in Lodi again" and had a verv delicious breakfast at Hollywood Cafe. The place was decorated in a quite appropriate way and the friendly waitress gave us a top-rate service. We will be back (some day)!

Great! Applewood Bacon and Cheese Omelet, Hash Browns, Toast and coffee 10.99. Plate over flowing more than enough food. Atmosphere was homey and diner all in one. People friendly and service was top notch.
