i love the vibe at mickeys. it feels like its been in hermosa forever, the staff is great - even the store itself feels like something out of the 70s. the sandwiches are pretty good. the "fancy" italian combo, however, wasnt so fancy. the bread they use is also of the quite soft variety, which is a matter of personal taste, but isnt necessarily mine. i wouldnt say no to lunch here again, though!

Epic, authentic, high Quality, 3rd. Generation Italian, Deli & Sandwich shop that happens to be steps away from beautiful Hermosa Beach. A Beach Cities Favorite with a down-home feel. Ask for Mickey, youll be talking with Jr. Or the III. This Deli, its sandwiches & food items, the little market & its entire staff are great. This Deli rocks!

Awesome meatball sandwich! I saw the good reviews and stopped in for a deluxe meatball sandwich. The bread is outstanding and the sandwich is huge, you wont go hungry. Plenty of drink choices including beer and wine but you cant consume them on the property. Theres a table inside and several tables outside to eat at.

I love going to Mickeys any time of the day! Breakfast, lunch or dinner - theyll have something to meet your cravings. Take something off the menu or customize it to your liking. Best part is you can grab a sandwich after work and take it on the beach just a few steps away and watch the sunset!

Best food in the South bay hands down. The pizza is better than most Italian joints serve and the sandwiches are done to perfection. I always make it a point to stop for lunch if Im in the area. Just get there before 11 or call it in if you dont want to wait.

I grew up on the Strand in the 70s with my skateboard, would go to Mickeys for a hot combo sandwich, 36 years later brought my wife theyre told her to order a hot combo and there it was, great place to eat when I go to Hermosa my first place.
