El Pollo Loco,the one Located in Hayward California has the Kelleys by the taste buds, their citrus chicken, is awesome. ... A couple of weeks ago we were in San Antonio Texas where we also ate at a El Pollo Loco... the difference was their Chicken had more of a pepper taste considering the local residents like things just a little more spicy... All in all, we are very pleased to have them,... It seems the staff is proactive in making your dining experience a pleasant one...*That was especially true with the one in San Antonio TX...I wished I could remember the managers name,...she was a joy to interact with, truly a people person...***Im not the Buffalo Bills quarterback, my claim to fame was being a US Coast Guard Air Rescue Corpsman out of San Diego,... one of my best jobs*** now an old retired ER Nurse...***We Just Had Dinner at El Pollo, THE Black Base Ball Caps, I guess are ok, BUT, The LOGO "EPL"...has Very Little Imagination...Has Corporate Asked Their Employees about a better LOGO?? I Dont Think So!!... .

Siempre está abarrotado pero muy buena la comida y si ocupan los cupones que llegan a las casas te ahorras como $15.00 las personas no los ocupan por que les da vergüenza pero piensen si los mandan es por que ellos están de acuerdo yo los ocupó y me ahorro mucho....las muchachas que sirven la comida en ocaciones son bastante PESADAS, GROSERAS, pero es el día a día de un trabajo que a lo mejor no les gusta o están cansadas de lo mismo... Pero uno que culpa tiene que estén enohadas verdad...? Ese es el único detalle de este lugar

very nice. good chicken. sometimes though the sweet potato fries can have too much oil but great service and excellent burritos. tasty sides. no upset stomach here ever compared to most times i eat at taco bell. my favorite is the taco el carbon for a $1 each. good quantity of chicken. like the grilled taste along with the coriander and diced onions. waiting times are a bit long though during peak hours so i try and beat the rush. absolutely my fav. fast food restaurant in the hayward downtown area.

They have great tasting grilled chicken. The seasoning is always perfect. We always have a bite here and then get a big batch of chicken to take home. Everyone in our family likes the food here. There is only one thing they could do to improve: use bigger chickens....they have the most scrawny chickens! We will be back. And the avocado chicken taco is a great menu item if you love avacado!

Every time I go they get my order wrong. This time I asked for thighs and wings and I received breasts and legs. I checked the sides, which they had 1 wrong and made them switch to flour tortillas which was what on the order. They assured me that the chicken was right. They had even hand writen it on the receipt. But yet again when I arrived at work, it was wrong again. Get it together!!!

This location is kept clean and the service is fairly quick so long as you are not in the drive through lane. I stop by this location sometimes when I am hungry on my way home from work around 5:30 PM. This is probably the busiest time of the day considering the drive through is backed up all the way to the street. It is worth the wait though, the food is always tasty.

El pollo yucko -- I ordered an 8 piece leg and thigh and 2 sideds. When I got it home the meat was dry and chewy. Years ago I remember how juicy and delicious. Now that I think back on my visit, I remember seeing tons of cooked chicken already prepared, so I think I got old and dry chicken that was sitting there for hours -- sad day, they lost my business.

Great roasted chicken, fresh vegetables, healthy menu options, each item is prepared as soon as you order it, friendly staff, clean restaurant and parking lot. Occasionally, there are long wait times because the chicken is cooked in-house. But the wait is well worth it!

Ive been eating at El Pollo Loco since 1989 when they only had one restaurant in the Fruitvale. I wont be eating there much anymore and I hate to leave but you cannot charge me 30% more and give me 50% less. As much as I love El Pollo Loco, its truly an insult. Adios.

We always went there for great BBQ chickens with coupons. They always have different cashiers and we always ask for manager to decide what and how many freebies we can get from the coupons. An intreating procedure to go thru like once every quarter.

Gotta be the best tasting chicken when it comes to fast food. As much as I like fried foods, Pollo Loco just delivers that grilled chicken flavor taste and aroma. Nothing compares when you are lazy to grill or bbq and want that flavor right away.

Fast service, generally clean and does the job,.. Can you ask for more? Thw food is your typical el pollo Loco nothing outstanding and nothing bad. Average. It gets busy on Sunday lunchtime here, but the service is kinda fast.

The staff here is friendly and the food is good. But the drive thru wait here is terrible. If you come on the weekend, be prepared to wait minimum half an hour. Ive been here almost forty five minutes waiting.
