We are so lucky we have this shop in our town. Wow. They get FRESH water-processed beans. They roast FRESH single-origin beans (no need to hide bad flavors with blending). This means their beans do not have micromolds (ever feel funky from coffee?) and taste fantastic. I never react to their coffee and it is roasted nearly every day of the week. Yum! When I asked a gazillion questions about the type of bean, where they came from, how they were handled, they took the time to answer each question with concern for my happiness. Now Im completely hooked, I wont go elsewhere. Not only that, but they have a few little cafe tables and serve some decent cafe food, so I dont mind a little mid-morning or afternoon pick-me-up food choice (bagels, quiche, sandwich, etc) from there, either. Great shop. What are yo waiting for? (No, they didnt give me free coffee for this review, but I wish I woulda asked!)

Both my husband and I went here because of the ratings, because of my experience in this business (over 30 years Italian trained. NOT Starbucks trained... Original Italian Barista here) If your are looking for an experienced made quality coffee dont go here you will be disappointed! They use Torani syrups which are not gourmet status, the coffee was watery, terrible flavor, I felt like I received it from a fast food place, or from a machine with major bypass issues! We paid over $12 for two coffees and threw them in the trash at Rite Aid parking lot!

I have driven by this unassuming place M-F for 2 years, and stopped in at 7:50AM. The wonderful aroma of roasted coffee greeted me as I opened the door. Great historic building and feel inside this large shop; many goods and curiosities to explore, comfortable seating and tables for at least twenty. Great selection of drinks and noshing. they serve Chico Chai! big plus. Staff are friendly and expeditious. I will be back and recommend this place right off of highway 49.

Ok, so I LOVE independent coffee shops, but this one gets six stars if I could give them. Why? Because you can walk in and literally find the owner hand roasting their own beans. It doesnt get any fresher than this! And the love of the craft shines through with each carefully crafted cup, whether its a plain cup o Joe or an iced caramel latte with whipped cream. Go on, order up and have a life changing coffee experience!

I have been going to Carolines Coffee for over a year now. I love it! They have a huge selection of coffee. So, Im always able to find something new and definitely something Ill enjoy. Today, I bought the Kona Fancy. At $30 a pound, Im hoping its tasty! But, I have never been disappointed.

Great coffee selection, friendly service, freshly made breakfast sandwiches, reliable wi-fi. Good place to grab a cup or even lunch. They have a massive coffee grinding machine on sight which is pretty cool to observe.
