I love this place. My family and I dine here at least once a week and the service is excellent. In fact, Izabell is normally our waitress. Let me tell you, we do not speak a bit of Spanish and we always receive great service-ALWAYS. This is the case with all of the waitresses but Izabell goes well out of the way to accommodate us. The food is exceptional whether is be the beef tacos, fajitas, taco salad, or enchiladas. Very authentic Mexican food. And the salsa is always freshly made and tasty. They also provide a catering service and the quality of the food is just as good from their mobile kitchen. Jorge and his wife Maria recently catered an event at our ranch and I was impressed that they continued to cook for sixty plus people until everyone made it back for second an third helpings. In fact, I had a few of the guests comment on how patient they were with such a large group of people. It was amazing what a great job they did for us. We will continue to be customers of El Rodeo as long as they remain in business.

I grew up in Galt and have always eaten here, I love the food, highly recommend the super burrito and the salsa is always delicious. Only gripe is this place is STILL not English friendly, it blows my mind that they have people that barely speak English answering the phones for take out after all these years. If you make any special instructions even simple things like re-fried beans instead of pinto beans your order will almost always be wrong. My order has been wrong 3 out of the last 4 visits. They always remake the food and are very nice about it but my advice check your food every time. Even though they make no attempt to improve the language barrier for the over 50% ppl in galt that only speak English its still the best mexican food in town compared to a taco wagon and a crappy branch of Wood Bridges Cactus. Still its such a shame this place has so much potential.

Horrible service, and predjudice. I stood waiting to be helped for five minutes while another woman cut in front of me and was helped first, in spanish....when I asked politely why she had skipped me, the woman would not muster a viable reply or reason why and then completely ignored me........meanwhile leaving my ready food sitting on the counter. I was very polite. The two older waitresses have no social skills and will not admit it if they make a mistake. They will ignore you. Do not eat here. I will be contacting management.

El Rodeo recently catered an outside party of over 50 guest for us. George Jr was a delight to deal with during the planning. The day of the party George Jr, George Sr. and his daughter showed on time and set up before the party began. Their food, service, presentation were all very good at a very reasonable price. All the guest commented on the great food and service. We couldnt have asked for anything more, great job guys! Also the restaurant in Galt is the wifes and I go to place for authentic Mexican food.

This restaurant is over priced and the staff is incredibly rude to non Spanish speakers. If you want beans and rice with the meal be prepared to pay extra. To have sauce on burritos is also extra. If you dont speak Spanish be prepared to wait for your food, be ignored by staff, and forget the drink refills! Its such a shame since they are the only really good Mexican food in town.

Just had dinner there. The carne asada is VERY tasty. The service was good and servers friendly. Guacamole is fresh and very delicious! Two meals, guac and three beers for $23. Very reasonable for the quality in my book. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is its a cafe style atmosphere.

Positives: chicken was amazing, all produce fresh, spicing and flavor good. Negitive: chips from an tall cheap bag where stale and gross, heated ?, then the shell for the taco salad was stale and tasted like old oil. Reasonably priced, friendly people. Cute and cozy resteraunt.

I love this place! Favorite Mexican restaurant and favorite place in Galt. I grew up going to El Rodeo all the time as a kid. Still love it. 5 stars, always. Great food and fantastic staff.
