Very good place! Staff greets you as soon as you walk-in and acknowledge you as you leave. A very simple gesture but one that is increasingly overlooked these days. The employees are very friendly and helpful. It was my first time there so I was indecisive on what to order. The employee was very helpful and polite and did not rush me, at the same time another employee opened a new register to help other guests as I ordered. Very nicely done. The subs are fresh, delicious and made the way you order. There are plenty of sauces to chooses from, so no plain or bland sandwiches here. And if sauces werent enough, they have a nicely done hot sauce bar with a selection to satisfy almost everyone. Highly recommend this establishment. They accept online orders and they do catering. Very Disappointing.. Extremely boring sandwich....very small portions for the price (24.00 for 2 large)...Nothing on the sandwich besides a small portion of meat, cheese and condiments, no lettuce, onions nothing....dont know if they offer those things on your sandwich I WASNT ASKED or offered the option to add anything....But they did ask if I wanted a dill pickle twice...And they asked if I wanted to donate the change to some place, which I dont like to be asked I feel put on the spot, I prefer a donation cup on the counter so I can decide and not be asked..I would not recommend and I will not repeat...

I got the "Engineer", which has turkey, swiss cheese, and what theyre trying to pass off as "sautéed" mushrooms. The sub was moist, but the mushrooms were obviously canned (rubbery and slimey, with no flavor). They steam their sandwiches, but do not press them, so its barely warm and so loose, the copious amounts of still ice cold shredded lettuce and tomatoes all fall out when you pick it up. The sandwich, by itself (no pickle, chips or drink), was small for $8. Overall, their sandwiches are better than quiznos or subway, but Port-o-subs still holds the crown for the chain sub shops.

Extremely unhappy with this sandwich. My first time here. I ordered a (cold) Turkey and Swiss on wheat bread. I got turkey on white. The lettuce was wilted and very old, NOT fresh. I asked for extra tomato, (I got 1 and 1/2 thin slices of limp tomato). Soggy bread (we went straight home - 5 minutes) and started to eat. My daughter and I both ordered the combo large sandwich and I paid over $28.00 for this poor excuse for a sandwich. I feel bad because the staff was great, pleasant and courteous. I didnt discover the quality of the sandwich until I got home. Unhappy.....

I just purchased 95 boxed lunches for our companys monthly luncheon from here and I HAD to review it. We purchase lunches every month for our staff and this is by far my favorite sub place that we have purchased from yet. This is the first time I have eaten here and it wont be the last!

Wanted to try this place for a while now. Finally did, but have to admit it wasnt anything exciting or worth bragging about. The subs were okay, good but not what we were expecting. I got the Club on a Sub and my boyfriend got the Meatball Sub.

Delicious sandwiches. Would like to have been able to see what goes into a sandwich more easily, but otherwise it was great. Hot sauces were fairly limited... There were tons of bottles, but mostly just a bunch of duplicates.

Delicious! The price is typical for this quality. It isnt a subway. You can add on tons of things (pickles, green peppers, onion, banana peppers, pepperocinis, etc etc) for no additional charge. Friendly staff as well.

Firehouse subs are really good quality sandwiches. Good selection of hot sauces as well should you want them. Location is average but definitely serviceable, but the food is good enough where that shouldnt be an issue
