Doddy style is now my favorite! The food here, originated from Austin is crazy good. Simple yet interpreted into their own style of burgers and shakes. Its like a grown up diner! We came here soft opening today. Everyone from front of the house to back of the house was quite attentive on their toes! I have to say, I was overly impressed! Ordered the following: Ahi Burger: Best thing here, no doubt. Came out pretty rare. (Doddy style) Contains Sushi-Grade Tuna, Sprouts, Teriyaki, Honey Wasabi, Nori Chips, Pickled Ginger, Mayo. It had the right amount of kick. Magic Shroom: Contains Angus Beef, Local Goat Cheese, Field Mushrooms, Mayo, Basil Pesto. Contrast was really good, for you steak lovers! Good night good cause: Angus Beef, Tillamook Cheddar, Hickory BBQ Sauce, Caramelized Onions,Sliced Jalapeno, Hickory BBQ, Sassy Sauce. This was a little lost in the taste and sauce but still quite good. Thunderbird: Chicken sandwich that has Chicken, Tillamook Pepper Jack, Apple-Smoked Bacon, Avocado, Seared Poblanos, Pico de Gallo, Chipotle Mayo. My kid loved this! It was just plain good, the bacon tasted homemade. Yup, I stole a piece. They make a lot of things in house like Sangria, lemoncello. The sauces like the chipotle sauce also tasted in house. The blueberry soda blew my mind! It was different, kind of like the first time I tasted blueberry donuts.

Heres the scoop... 1) Its a cool, trendy burger joint. Normally I wouldnt recommend taking a date to a burger joint, but this place is nice enough to do so. They have a small bar area and outside seating as well. Its very clean and new. 2) The service was solid. I called in first because it was late and the young lady that answered was polite and friendly. I wasnt greeted immediately upon coming in but I was there for take out and it was 35 minutes to close. Ill give them a pass on that. Overall, service was solid. 3) The food was pretty good but overpriced. I paid $28 and change for a burger, fries, and a shake. I ordered the Primetime burger, truffle fries, and red velvet shake. All three were solid but unremarkable. The burger was smaller than I expected, but well cooked. It was kind of sloppy but it tasted good. The fries were fresh, real potatoes which is a plus. They were very salty though. The taste was there but the saltiness made them nearly unbearable. The shake was ok but most definitely not worth the $6 they charged. Overall Id say it was an underwhelming experience but if youre interested, go ahead and check it out. Id just recommend you temper expectations.

Amazing!! I came here some weeks ago and tried every drink on the menu and let me tell you what to order the sangrita is delicious!not only was the drink great the bar tender was amazing, most places when you switch drinks they tend not to give great service however Bree kept a smile on her face the whole time even asked what was I looking for and made suggestions which were great she suggested the garlic Parmesan fries and also informed me they had turkey since I do not eat beef she truly made my experience worth while I live more than 10miles away and do not mind the travel to this place the customer service is amazing Ive started to frequent this place And it started with the memory I experienced with Bree, a genuine smile and great service.

Dropped by with a friend. Service was great! There were no seats besides one table right next to the door. I went at a time where El Nino was pretty much blowing an absurd amount of wind into the LA Area. The hostess let us know that shed be on the lookout for a table, but we could put our order in and wait till a table is ready. She could have just stuck us at the ill fated table next to the door, but she did her part and made sure we were comfy. On that note, I got a Hail Caesar (Caesar Salad) and I dont want to over exaggerate, but that might have been the best salad Ive EVER eaten. The chick peas they put inside pretty much just made everything amazing. You def gotta give this place a try.

I have been here twice and I really wanted to like this place but with so much competition surrounding this restaurant the food is sub par. The prices are way to high for what you get. Took out three coworkers, ordered 3 burgers, 3 small fries, and 3 beers. The total was $79.00. We left hungry...That steep! The worst part was the rudest cashier who would not let us change tables. She put us in the first booth so we could mingle with the lunch crowd and their elbows on our partition. She wasnt friendly and had know common sense. There were plenty of other tables available. She was on a power trip. Ask twice and she said no both times. Ugh, never again.

Still not sure about this place, will have to revisit. A little what to expect: you line up to order food, you pay, you find your seats, they bring you the food, self serve drink/condiment station - its kind of like a fancy Carls Jr. If you sit at the bar, its more like a traditional sit-down restaurant where youre billed at the end. My buffalo burger was well done, even though I was informed it will come out medium rare and was checked if I was okay with that, which of course I was. Service was nice, genuinely apologetic when they forgot my fries. Price is a little more than typical sit-down burger places since fries are separate.

The Austin franchise arrives in El Segundo! While my expectations are not high for Hopdoddy, the visit proved me correct without being impressed nor disappointed. The bison burger didnt have much flavour inside the meat and the condiments added some texture and spice but nothing impressive. The chicken burger was downright flavourless. The truffle parmesano fries were a bit too salty and the potatoes were too short to dip into the truffle aioli. The dark beer was decent but doesnt come close to the German dark beers.

Love this place... I used to be the baker at this location and have to say its a clean environment... The management staff strives for excellence and you can taste it in their food. While everything on the menu is delicious my favorite has to be the ceaser salad with a turkey Patty on the side. The turkey is ground in house by a butcher (my hubby) with pesto and sun dried tomatoes... They even make the dressing...Its a flavor I now crave ... If you have not tried this place its a must... Try anything its all good....

My gosh their burgers are good! I got the El Diablo burger medium rare. It was the perfect combination of BBQ sauce, fresh Serrano peppers, and sautéed onions. The patty was very thick after grilled and was served on a delicious bun. I think their burgers are better than The Counters. The chiplotle ketchup and honey musterd was very flavorful and went perfect with their fries. Their alcohol selection is a bit pricy though and not a huge selection of beers.

New addition to the South Bay. I love this plaza already! I love that they do outdoor concerts in the Summer. Love that they have workout events sponsored by Athleta on Sundays! Love that its nearby work and home. This place is beautiful! I cant wait for more businesses to be opened
